LA's best line up is kobe, shannon brown, bynum, gasol and odom. that is very tough for boston to match up with

Rasheed just needs to hit some early shots and stay out of trouble. the fact is its sad that he has played this long and is still an immature idiot. He still cant keep his mouth shut

When Danny got Sheed last summer, did anybody really think the merit of that signing would end up being judged, ultimately and totally, in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, with Sheed forced to start and play big minutes?

Crazy.

KG is going to play close to 40 IMO. bench time will be very short for pierce, ray, rondo and KG. they have to play more than 30 minutes to win

Just box+1 Kobe or even run a traditional 2-3 zone and that lineup will be shutdown.

the best thing for boston is for bynum to sit. this would allow sheed to play gasol and KG to take odom. baby could spot them...i would LOVE to see boston pull out the zone at spots tomorrow night.

There is 96 minutes available when you combine the center and power forward positions. This is game seven. Everything has to be left on the court. KG needs to stay out of foul trouble and play 40 minutes. Wallace needs to stay out of foul trouble and play 28 minutes. Davis needs to stay out of foul trouble and play 28 minutes. The C's cannot afford to have Williams or Scal on the court at any time.

I am hoping for a huge game from Sheed. But just as importantly, I think we need an absolute monster 40 plus minute game from the Big Ticket.

I would start Wallace, too.

Absolutely must start SHEED.
need his defense vs Laker starters
and need BABY's offense vs Laker bench, who he can maul.

Sheed disappeared when Detroit was in the playoffs. I see no reason for betting the house on him now. Sure let him start; but if anything maybe playing Bynum will keep him off the three point line. Hoping he comes up big; but only if he does it by channeling his inner Perk!

Paul, Ray and Rondo all have to help pick up the rebounding slack--and when they do they're a very good team.

Agreed on all counts.
Start Wallace.  Let him abuse Bynum.
Make sure KG leaves absolutely everything on the court (I know he will).  Let BBD make key plays off the bench.  I think those three can anchor the 4,5.  Really the only issue will be foul trouble.

It's been theorized for some time that he was phoning it in that last year in Detroit. He's not in the same situation now, so I think he'll give effort.
