Not sure if Scal is eligible.  If so, the Cs need his potential for making 3s and his passing to spread the court.  Williams, while a better rebounder, is playing terrible and should not dress.  

I don't think the problem is the Cs defense, it's the offense...they need to be more aggressive, make the extra pass, and make shots. I know they were out-rebounded...however, if they make the layups and uncontested jumpers they missed then it should balance out.

Sheldon has been SO FRUSTRATING to watch in these playoffs/finals.

First he gift-wraps 6 points to the Lakers in the closing moments of the 1st half in game 2 (i believe) and then last night he missed the dunk. He just looks lost out there and Scal would be loose as he has essentially been trying out to take Gary Tanguay's job during the pre-game interviews.

Seriously, Tanguay and Donny Marshall have been saying "ok so let's now go to our Simmons sideline reporter Greg Dickerson with our very own Boston Celtics Insider Brian Scalabrene".

I agree.  If nothing else, Scali does a better job putting his body on his man when the shots go up.

Agreed.  Scal doesn't rebound, but at least he blocks out his man (preventing his opponent from grabbing rebounds).  Shelden can't rebound, and he can't catch.  Basically, he's useless.

I would play Williams ahead of Scalabrine but I would only have Shelden on the court if matched up against Powell or Mbenga.

Otherwise, I'd be giving Garnett/Sheed/Davis all of the available minutes.

•   He plays a smart veteran game under pressure
•   We’ve seen everything LA has.  Scal brings us a look LA hasn’t seen
•   LA will give him even less respect than he gets on this board, and he can make them pay.
•   This is probably his last game in green, and his first finals appearance in green.  He is playing for his legacy.

Did you guys see Tommy and Mike interview Scal last night.  There were a bunch of unintentional comedy moments.  First of all, Scals bottom bottom was bursting at the seems and you had a great view of Scals naval for most of the interview.  And then Mike and Tommy seemed to both me making fun of a potential for Scal to play, and even hit a game winning shot on Thursday.  But they were basically making fun of Scal, right in front of him.  He didn't really seem to know what to say.
