Missed layups are actually a good thing, because it shows that the Celtics are getting great looks. In game #4 the Celtics were missing tons of layups in the 1st half and were down, but I knew they would come back (and posted as such) because they were getting great shots and the Lakers weren't (but were hitting their toughies). In this game, both teams were getting great shots but the Lakers were hitting more of theirs, especially in the first half. That is very unusual that the Celtics would miss so many chippies throughout the entire game and I consider it an anomaly.. it won't happen in game #7. What they do have to do, though, is tighten up the defense so that the Lakers don't get the same looks they had tonight. This is what they did in games #4 and #5.
