Game 6 was a stinker.  Oh well.  Now we have the basketball super bowl.  It's rare.  1 game to decide the champ.  Lakers vs Celtics.  Two biggest franchises in the NBA.  The biggest rivalry in basketball.  It doesn't get any better than this.  Either team can win.  Anything can happen.   Time to throw a major party.  I'm leaving work early Thursday (on the west coast) and pre-partying up to tip-off.   Has there been a bigger game in the past 10 years?...

What about the last 26 years? Where were you in 1984?

The beatings will continue until morale improves

It doesn't get better than this in terms of basketball.

Stern is surely smiling (whether he did anything to help this happen or not, I'm sure he's just very happy)

C'on Celtics!!!! Last game! Beat LA!
Anything is possible!!!

I was trying to think of a bigger "Game" than this in the past decade.  Is it the biggest pro game in the last 20 years?    How many series have gone 7 games ?  I know Detroit and the Spurs went 7... but no disrespect... the characters and history in this one make it a bigger deal.  Jordan never even played in a game 7.

Knicks and Houston went 7 games in 94, but that was during JOrdan's baseball years.  Sadly a lot of people look down on it because of that.

I'm going to say this is the biggest single pro game since 1988 Pistons Vs Lakers Game 7.
