Glad to hear it. I knew nothing short of paralysis would keep him down.

Perk is one, tough mofo. Hope the knee is good enough to let him give it a go.

He played in 2008 with only one working shoulder after he tried to lift his left arm with Odom pushing down. Perk knows focus. If anyone can play through...

Yep, if somebody can then it will be Perk. His determination is admirable.

makes me happy, but we have to be smart. cannot go out there and just stand around. i know he has the heart, but we have to be smart.

if he can go, great. if not, he has to sit out and others have to step up

Yea, it's not like his game is predicated on quickness and hard cutting. But I do worry that cutting into his speed might mean Perkins only making it from 3 pt line to 3 pt line.

I'd keep him on a very short leash. If Perk can't play defense and can't get rebounds, then we might as well put Sheed or Baby in there early because Perk has no offensive game to speak of.

Pick & roll D will be worth paying attention to.

Love Perk's grit and determination. I remember how huge the minutes he gave us last time where the tape on his shoulder could barely stay together. But as much as I want to win, I want Perk to be OK too. I hope the trainers are absolutely careful clearing him to play. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt based on Big Baby post-concussion return.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
