= disastrous

The spacing get worse & worse. And it suffocates the offense. No Eddie to the rescue.

Rondo needs to be aggressive and take the ball to the basket, keep the team in run mode in transition. THAT is how we've been beating the Lakers; staying on the attack off of their missed baskets.

When Pierce has to try and take over a game alone, we'll get the same result as the Lakers did when Kobe tried to do it alone.

Doc should have subbed with Robinson when the Celtics were down 15.  The spacing would have been much better and Robinson can provide some offense.

Nate is worse in my opinion. His decision making leaves a lot to be desired. And he can't makes basic passes. C's can't afford to play from behind EVER! With no House, we are stuck with Rondo clawing back in. Rondo please make some shots in game7. the whole team needs to make shots, refs any giving us any breaks.

I love having Rondo in situations where the Celtics are down big.

His defensive play, ability to create turnovers and grab rebounds (create extra possessions), transition offense and playmaking ability are all huge strengths for getting a team easy baskets + stopping/limiting the opposing team.

The Celtics are one of the most dangerous teams at making back large deficits because of Rajon Rondo.

Nate was horrible in the first half. That alley oop to TA was the worst I've ever seen.

  • Rondo = Good
The Celtics just aren't a good team at cutting big deficits, whether Rondo is playing or not.

Their defense can spark runs that turn small deficits into big leads, but if they're down big they don't have the kind of outside shooting or explosive offense that can get that right back in it.  This is especially true when Ray Allen is struggling from deep.

People are getting carried away with this game. The Celtics are fine at coming back from big deficits. Just not tonight when we were thoroughly outplayed. It happens.

I don't get the desire to generalize from a single outcome as if there is some magic formula. LA played great defense. They were tipping passes all over the place. Our initial falling behind was not a result of cheating off of Rondo.

I am more concerned about our poor finishing at the rim. This is not the first game where we had that problem. Games like that make my respect for Kobe's game grow. He is a sick finisher.
