This has been a very exciting series, so far.

While I really enjoyed the weak side swat of Gasol's shot by TA, my pick may be may be one of the best "plays" I've ever seen because it involved 3 great actions by 3 different players within one sequence at a critical juncture of the game. In the last minute of game 5 with the game still on the line, KG's inbound pass from the right backcourt to a well covered PP was Brady-esque for its pinpoint accuracy. He threw it between 2 defenders to a place where only PP could catch it. PP, rising up and almost outstretched like a wide receiver, made a great catch, and as he made the catch saw a streaking RR on the completely opposit side near half court. The only way PP gets the ball to RR in stride is to pivot and twist and as he is falling away from the court in the air out of bounds throw the ball in the opposite direction in which his body is falling with enough zip to hit the streaking RR. RR then streaks toward the basket and makes a dificult (for most people) reverse layup look easy to finish the play. WOW!!! 3 great plays by 3 great palyers in the same sequence leading to a crucial basket.

The bang bang nature of that play reminded me of the Bird steals the ball, DJ lays it in,play of Celtics playoff lore.

While that was my favorite play, the favorite moment was when Donkey jumped on Shrek as he was drooling.

What are your favorite plays or moments so far?

Mine was that Big Baby and Tony Allen vs Lamar Odom and Jordan Farmer? scramble to the floor for the loose ball, won by Davis who fed out to Nate Robinson and then Baby getting up and hustling down the floor to get a put back and one at the 10:00 mark of Game 4 in the 4th Qtr. In my mind, the series turned at that point.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Either the bomb-lateral TD play with KG-Pierce-Rondo, the TA block, or Ray's 7th straight 3. The Rondo block on Fisher from behind after biting on the shot fake was amazing too, and instrumental in the win.

As exciting as the Baby-Nate game 4 was, no single plays seemed that amazing to me.

I feel that 2008 had far more iconic plays, with the KG follow dunk, the 2 Ray layups, the Pierce and-1 3 coming back from tweaking the knee, the crazy game 6 KG and one in the lane, and the meaningless cherry-on-top alley-oop to TA. Oh yeah, and the Gatorade.

Tony Allen closeout block on Gasol stands out the most so far.

The inbounds play with 1 second to get the ball across late in Game 2.  I'm lazy so I'll just copy my post from after the game:

Unfortunately ABC completely missed the start of the play under our basket, but it was an absolute thing of beauty.  We got Gasol switched onto Ray and the rest of the Lakers clustered on the other side of the court; when Ray got the ball the Lakers moved to double, but instead of Ray holding the ball and running clock like they expected, Garnett cut hard to the hoop, pinning Kobe on his back and creating a 2 on 1.  Perk made a great cut and caught a terrific pass, gliding under the rim and laying the ball in over Bynum.  Watch it in slow-mo and you can almost hear that piano music from the commercials.  My favorite play of the year I think.

I think I'll go with the Rondo tip-in in Game 5.  Rondo floats over and between Kobe and Odom with 4 minutes left to put the C's up 8.  Incredible play.

More great moments tonight hopefully.

The best part of that play was Kobe turning around with a "how'd that happen?" look on his face.

oh god...theres been a few

Obviously the TA Block on Gashole
Rondo Tip In
Brady to Moss to Welker
the "Drool" play (The play that led to the Drool filled scream)
But then a few  that kind of went underappreciated

Rondos steal at the end of Game 4
Garnetts beautiful post move in game 5 where it was kind of a one handed shot (reminded me alot of his big shots in 08 finals)
Rays record
Rondos post fakeout on Bynum in game 2
and many more

but with a gun to my head I would have to say the Rondo  tip in...it was the complete definition of this entire season...never giving up even when the odds are against you (Rondos height)

There are so many, and most talked about here I loved as well, but, despite my past reluctance to ever praise TA, the block that he layed on Gasol was just completely awesome, and to me, perfectly defines the defense-minded, never-say-die attitude that this team stands for. Loved it ... here ya go:

TA's block on Gasoft
The Rondo Shake  ;) on Bynum

Not one play, but Ray's 7 first half three's is my favorite moment.

There have been a ton.  One that comes to mind was Ray saving the ball from out of bounds in Game 5, and getting the ball to Rondo down court for the layup.  It was a big momentum play.

Definitely the whole "Drool play" sequence.

It was filled with several intense moments where heart dominated, and every bounce went to the Celtics.
