That kinda stuff is pathetic.  A moron like that should be banned from any sports arena for life.  Stuff like that gives the rest of the true fans a bad name.  I hope security saw who did it and ejected him/her.  If not, I hope the fans around him/her pointed them out.

Definitely not cool, hopefully whomever threw it will be banned and barred from the Garden.

Count me in as someone who's embarrassed for Boston sports fans by incidents like this.  So for the sake of deflecting blame, I'm going to go ahead and say that this was done by a disgruntled lakers fan upset with his own team...seriously though, why would a Boston fan throw something at Odom, he's been everything we would hope he'd be: invisible.

So that's the official story I'm going with, this must have been a lakers fan who was upset with Odom's lack of a performance in support of Kobe.

Ahh, I feel better already. 8)

I hate when something like this happens in our building.  Even if this was a Lakers fan, it makes Boston look bad. Unfortunate to say the least and I hope that those around him/her pointed them out and they were ejected.

Definitely pathetic.  I hate how these morons have to go and do stupid things and now everyone will lump all Boston sports into this one category.

I don't know how technically you ban someone from a sports arena, but if it were possible he should be banned from all Boston Sports arenas for life.....Sox, the Garden, Revolution games....

this is the kind of thing that can not only get someone hurt but can screw your team as well....
How can it screw your own team?  I'm not sure other than 1.  Karmically.  2.  If an L.A. player gets injured and can't play is there some rule in place that penalizes the home team somehow?and 3.  The L.A. equal of this moron, let's call him Moron West (hope he doesn't exist), can throw some glass and knock one of our players out of the series....

Major sigh.....major disappointment, as it is a blatant reminder that the few always eff everything up for the many.

(you should here me talk about littering >:()

He wasn't hit.  The object hit the floor and slid right off.  He is full of of crap.   Obviously despicable behavior.  Remember the game at LA this year when the fans threw 50 items on the floor?

Totally stupid to throw stuff on the court, it's always dangerous and lame, and especially in this case. Glad nobody got injured, Lakers or Celtics.

When I read the article I immediately thought of Vin Baker and how he would have reacted in that situation.
