okay, i forgot about this one, a friend just reminded me...did you see it, it was the most blantent attempt at permanently injuring Ray, I have seen so far, for a pick ron artest, couldn't get ray with his body, so he put his knee wayyyy out there, giving ray a bad charlie horse, but that is the type of play that killed cam neeley...that is how you ruin a guys knee for life.....did he get a T, no , was it reviewed, no...do we need an enforcer.....?

Its no wonder that Ray had a terrible shooting night after that.

Artest also took down Pierce on the second play in game 1.

Both plays were dirty and happened early in the games, without penalty to the Lakers.

That's exactly what he wants though, the reaction - Ron's job is to d up our best player and take him out of the game, whether its mentally or physically - if he gets one of our guys to nail him and causes a flagrant or two and Pierce or Ray get kicked out - Ron Ron would be happy - that's why we need Marquis in there to do it =)

If Artest gets bounced, the Lakers are down to about 5 serviceable players.  Its a real short bench for them.  If any Lakers get in foul trouble, its even shorter.

Guys,

This isn't hockey.  You don't send guys out there to take out the opposition in this game.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas

Really?  Send in the most fragile player on our roster to be the big physical avenger?  Seriously?  Wyc won't be able to afford the insurance premiums if we keep Quisy on the roster as it is, for heaven's sake.  Didn't he get a concussion from headbutting Dwight Howard's abs?

It isn't hockey?

Why does Artest get away with it then?

Why do the officials let Artest get away with it?

They must be too busy giving ticky tack fouls to Perk and Sheed.

Concussion came from headbutting Marcin Gortat...

no it doesn't,,,ever play bball "dude"? you use your shoulders, maybe your arms, when you have no skills (scrub play) your knee, or leg, no way..look at what it did, a charley horse, what do you think..he was thinking doing that....no one else does that, that is for cheap shots, and hackers...not your fault for not knowing though..!

I saw that and mentioned a couple of times that it could have been the reason for Ray's bad shooting night.  A thigh bruise would have altered his lift and his shot.

Well, what do you think artests "job" is....took out pp in game 1, 1 minute in, no this on ray...there are people out there who do it...ever see narajo on denver ( i think now) he is a hatchet man for sure...! We don't send them out to get him FIRST, you send them out after they drew first blood...play for blood  (okay not blood, but you should get what i mean)...
