Pretty cool story.  Got to be a thrill.  Although I guess it can only go downhill from there!

Not just his first at bat, the first pitch of his first at bat.  Pretty spectacular!

Another story slowly developing on the late prospect front is Darnell McDonald. He was actually on the verge of being released a few weeks ago because he does not have any minor league options remaining. At age 31 he is getting his most playing time ever and is actually batting a really respectable 290. I am continuing to root for him to have success.

Yeh, McDonald has really smoothed out during this last stint.

Are we slowly growing players down in Pawtucket??

Where are our 20 year old phenoms? Jason Heyward? Buster Posey? Starlin Castro?

Oh that Blanton pitch missed its spot by a mile.

Thanks for the effort Daniel.

Never hit another home run after the first pitch granny.
