  • GOT IT!!!
I feel pretty good about the second half. C's are doing all the right things needed to win the game except turning the ball over. Take care of that and it's 3-2.

Don't underestimate the benefit of the C's bench.

And keep the Lakers off the offensive glass

Fisher shot more FT's on one play than we did the entire half combined. And those two measly FT's came on the no-brainer push that Artest gave KG.

Pau Gasol has been a non-factor offensively. Not playing well.

Kobe Bryant struggled for most of that half too. Lamar Odom had another non-showing. Fisher, Artest and Farmer are all struggled offensively.

Not much going on for LA on the offensive end of the court. Things looking good for Boston.
And still it's only 5 point game. Any of this guys can wake up in the second half.

that was weak from Ron Artest.  Hes the guy that says he would never take a charge

He's also the guy that said he was gonna work on his flopping this year.

Rondo's T was probably warranted - he was talking quite a bit too.  Artest two-hand shoved KG, I don't know why that wasn't even considered as a flagrant, though.

2nd half, Rondo must play more in control in the paint - stop trying to make And-1 passes to Perk.

Pierce looking very good - he can get his shot 1-on-1 against Artest and Walton anytime he wants.  And KG has quietly put up 8 pts, 7 reb, 2 ast, and 2 steals.

Rondo is playing like a rookie out there. He's out of control and needs to calm down. Pierce is on tonight. Run the offense through him and we're golden.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Pierce was hot & our All star (Rondo) decides to takes contested layup inside on one possession, and a little too late for the last second shot.

Every play in second half should run for Pierce. He should run the team.

Am I the only person who saw that Rondo tried to get him the ball?

Keep running the offense through Pierce and start getting defensive rebounds. We will win.

No because Tony Allen can play better defense than Allen, and do the same on the offensive end.

Really? TA doesn't even have to be covered unless he has the ball within five feat of the basket.  Meanwhile, Ray is playing outstanding D on Kobe and not forcing shots.

BTW, did anybody else hear Breen say Kobe wasn't shooting well because "he's been double and triple-teamed all series!"  Ell Oh Ell.

From your computer terminal to Doc's ears.

They don't seem to have a clue how to stop Paul from getting to his spots. Did they think he was just going to miss shots for seven games in a row?

Also - KG has been very good.
