...I will jump off the top of the Prudential Building. Ok, just kidding, but Davis on Gasol has to be the biggest mismatch the world has ever seen. I'll admit I'm really not a fan of Big Baby to begin with, but I think even biased fans who are pulling for him to succeed will admit that he can't come close to guarding Gasol. It's like literally handing the Lakers 2 points every time they come down the court.

For all of Rasheed's problems, if Gasol is on the floor I'd rather see Rasheed out there guarding him 10/10 times over Davis. If Lamar is in, then Davis' agility actually makes it a pretty good matchup and I see no problem with him being in the game. But having him guard Gasol is just a joke, and Doc should be ashamed of himself for putting Big Baby in that position.*

*Obviously Perkins/Garnett is our best frontcourt lineup, so this only applies when either Perkins or Garnett has to sit to get a rest or because of foul trouble

I love the Sheed on Gasol matchup. And Davis on Odom is solid. Davis on Bynum might work. Just push him out of the paint, treat him like Howard.

I don't think BBD did a terrible job against Gasol. I mean I remember that one possession towards the end where BBD stopped him on the first time down on the block, they reposted and he still played decent D, Gasol just shot it over him. BBD certainly has the strength and quickness to stay with Gasol, but the height as usual will give problems. That being said, i don't think this is a matchup we will see extensively and rightfully so. btw, I love BBD on Odom.

If Kobe can keep his ego in check I would think they'd be force feeding their big guys. Kobe is waht got us back in the last game. I'm surprised there has'nt been that much talk about that. I don't expect they will make that same mistake again. I was ROOTING for Kobe to keep shooting.
