Don't give up on the Green after Game #3...
We know about Philip's 47-0 after winning Game #1 of a playoff.
But the last time someone came from 1-2 to win the O'Brien Trophy? The team with the leprechaun logo and the parquet floor. The Lakers took a 2-1 lead on 6/3/84 at the Forum with a 137-104 drubbing of the C's. But the C's would fight back with a hard-fought 129-125 OT win in #4. Then Larry Legend, K-Mac, Chief & Co. took #5 with a 121-103 victory. But Team KC failed to seal the deal in #6 back in Inglewood. But, before the largest television audience for an NBA Finals, title 15 (and another Red Auerbach victory cigar) came on 6/12/84. C's 112, Showtime 103. So, just like '84, 2010's game #3 was a disaster. But think about the '84 Finals. Getting #18 CAN BE DONE! (By the way, the last time the Lakers had a title defense, they led 2-1 against the Spurs in the '03 West semis, and San Antonio blew out the Lakers 110-82 on 5/15/03 to end L.A.'s 4-peat bid.) I'm not giving up on the Green. Listen to those 2 words KG yelled when he was interviewed by Michele Tafoya of ABC after game 6 of the Finals....ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE! #18's gonna happen. And we're going to win in L.A. Let's do it!
