21 ft in the 4th quarter. We shot 17 for the game. No bias?

The Lakers played more aggressively and tenaciously down the stretch.  They also dominated on the boards all night.  You can blame the refs, but I think they did their best.  The Lakers had home court advantage, and they made the most of it.  Can't complain about that.

Ok, then please tell me why 1 qtr was completly different from the first 3? I don't buy that all of a sudden LA figured it had to be more aggressive in the 4th when they were getting beat all game. The only thing that changed was the type of calls that started going in their favore.

If you think it was fixed, then walk away.

It's so easy to do.

Stop watching.

Stop posting.

It's the only logical thing to do.

we stopped being aggressive and our lack of scoring was allowing them to attack us in transition. It’s very simple basketball. If you think that this was refereeing then you need to pay more attention to the game within the game.

home court advantage?? they got the calls in LA they got em in beantown it didnt matter. The C's played with a handicap all series. LA shot more ft's than us every game cept for 1 where it was even. thats a little ridiculous that 1 team has a constant advantage in FT's for a whole 7 game series. they were +60 for the series....
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

ANd you know what< I will because I'm tired of this nonsense. If it makes you feel like a big person to not wonder about what the hell just happened, then go ahead and feel better about yourself.

But I have to wonder why you defend this league so much, it because of

A) It makes you feel like a bigger man

B) You are realted to an official

C) You are Sterns son

D) You want to appear more intelligent than the rest of us.

This league is either corrupt or infested with people that cannot do their jobs properly. In either case, it's Sterns fault for not fixing this problem.

The Lakers took it inside on offense and ramped up their defense in the fourth.  The Celtics were unable to find decent scoring opportunities when they desperately needed to do so.

That's what was different about the 4th.  Honestly, it looked to me like the Celtics kind of sputtered a bit.  They had spent everything they had to hold on through three quarters, but the Lakers eventually broke through.

The Lakers just had too many weapons to contain for an entire game 7 on their home court.  Not with two of the best players in the NBA on their team.

LA also dominated the offensive glass most of the serious, and had the most intimidating offensive post player in the series.  So I would hope they would dominate free throws in most games.

So La wasn't aggressive until the 4th? Thats false.

I feel sad for all of those here who truly believe that NBA games and championships are somehow predetermined. And, I do not understand why these people bother watching the games.

Did you watch the 4th?  Much of their offense ran through Gasol.  Kobes three free throw play, clearly a foul.  Gasol kept getting raped underneath because no one big enough to body him up.  Face it, it was easier to defend the post early in the game because Kobe and crew weren't hitting any shots.  Kobe starts hitting shots, it opens up middle for penetration, which Lakers did.

Well, that at least made me laugh (and not in a mocking way - I'll TP you for that).

I'm afraid the answer is E) None of the above (it's definitely not D - I know exactly how dumb I am...)

Doesn't it make sense? If you think the league is fixed, there's no bigger betrayal as a fan. No way for it NOT to drive you nuts.

So you should walk away.
