It's called "9 stories on no. 9".. The legend of Rajon Rondo.

I actually read it all. For the Rondo fans, this is a great read and gives insight on his personal life and his beginngs, (not like we didn't know most of it anyways). But this is great. I love the recognition he is getting now. People got to see what he could do in in Finals 08, but this stage is even bigger now that he has become the best player on that team.

I hope you guys like! Though it is quite long. :)

I'd heard most of the stories before, but a great summary of Rondo's journey to his second NBA Finals. Well worth reading through it all.

Yah I read it this morning, some if it I didn't know like his life before college and his battle with Telfair before they were Celtics.

I loved the part about Ainge going over to Rondo to congratulate him after the championship and how he saw him as a son, but then stopped in shock when he saw that Rondo had a tear coming down his eyes...

That was a true shocker for me, I don't know why. Maybe because of Rondo doesn't show any emotion at all. Seeing him cheering on his teammates and smiling is a rarity. I know maybe in the locker room it' different, but in public he's so closed emotionally...

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I just finished it. I loved his younger life stuff, esp the first 3 chapters. THe rest of them were good, but I didn't really learn anything.

TP Mizzy that was an excellent read and the book should have been concluded.

Mizzy21390, TP for the find. Really insightful stuff into Rondo's world. I love how everyone praises his IQ more than his actual talent. I love listening to his Press Conferences. The guy remembers every play of every game, and where everyone was positioned. Sometimes too detailed. Amazing stuff.

Thanks! And I agree! He's only 24, he has so much more to do in this league, that soon that 9 chapter article will turn into a 20 chapter article... He's growing right before our eyes, and improving every year. I'm so proud as I'm sure everyone else is too.. :)
