And Ray misses the wide open lay up, even though KG was tagged with the offensive foul. We just can't win with Ray shooting ice cold like that. Like one poster above said, sometimes you just gotta recognize if your main shooter is off and give others a chance to shoot the ball. Also, that's three straight games now that PP has gone below average in scoring. It's now imperative that we win the next two games. KG came to play tonight, but it wasn't enough.

so, yeah, ray couldn't hit anything, but the calls were mind-bogglingly bad. every time we made a push, they called some nonsense on us. the refs are the story again. but this time, the home team got screwed.

So many swear words.

Here's the good news.  Home court means nothing in this series.  First team to win 4 wins it all.  It's just 2-1. And a Laker stink bomb is coming.

Garnett had only one rebound in the second half. A very good rebound which stopped a Bynum tip in under the basket ... but only one rebound in 15/16 minutes.

The Celtics had only one player hit the glass hard tonight and that was Kendrick Perkins. 11 boards in 21 minutes. Nobody else competed hard enough. Some spurts from players but not a total effort throughout.

Sigh we just love taking the long road don't we? Now that we've gotten the 2 tough losses out of the way, hopefully we can focus and put together our usual 3 game winning streak and get this done in 6 like we've done the past 2 times.

well....not the way I wanted to see this game go. Blown opportunities all around. Ray makes 2 shots and we probably win this game, or maybe 3. Came out strong but that first quarter collapse killed us. Too many missed free-throws. Some dubious calls. Eh, what are you gonna do. Just couldn't get over the hump there in the second half. A lot of missed opportunities.

Still, we played horrible, just couldn't make shots, and had a chance. Think we can get these next 2 and think we will. Let's go C's!

  • Let's Go Celtics!
This is probably the series right there. I read that ever since they made the 2-3-2 format, the team that wins game 3, has won every time. I am not a Sky is falling kind of guy but we had all the chances to turn this game around and we blew them. I don't think we will come back from this. Obviously, I hope I am wrong. Ugh. Sleep tight, fellas.

I don't care what history says about the 2-3-2 format, this series isn't over until someone reaches 4 wins. No need to overreact to the loss - this should've been a blowout, we could've rolled over but we fought back and made it close.

So I'm not going to freak out. Ray gave us NOTHING. Pierce showed up in small stretches. We get more from them, this game is a win.

Terrible loss. Not devastating because it's only 2-1 but still.

Tough to accept the fact that we lost HCA right away... and KG played a dominant game on both ends yet we lose. Frustrating, although Ray's no show (seriously, he had only open shots and didn't make a SINGLE one... so crazy and terrible) and Pierce's foul trouble (he made big threes and plays when we needed them for our comeback but he simply couldn't play much because of the foul trouble) sank us. Rondo was not really good either. The bench was huge.

Kobe was absolutely pathetic, he looked like a parody of himself, throwing forced shots after forced shots. Too bad we didn't manage to get a win. Frustrating to lose after the comeback but Ray's dagger 3's didn't fall... and yet I thought they would.

Fisher killed us in the 4th, I hate that guy and I hate even more losing because of him.

This loss really sucks 'cause we got good looks for the most part but we missed/failed the usual momentum swing plays.

Also, the refs were once again atrocious and the biggest story of the game. Pathetic. They were terrible and helped L.A a lot, I had the feeling we were playing in L.A with their absurd calls favoring the Lakers on ticky tack fouls while letting us getting pummeled by the Lakers (or waiting like 10 seconds to see if Baby's shotsw were going in before calling a foul - only if he missed, and yet not so much-.

Good night everybody, we have to bounce back in game 4 but with this officiating I'm really doubtful of the outcome of the series.

This game was lost in the first quarter. We didn´t execute after the first 5 minutes, and the Lakers had their way with us. It was an uphill battle from there for the rest of the game.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

  • KG is da Man
That loss really hurt man, I really thought the Celtics were going to win it, but some bad decisions at the end, I know Ray Allen will always be Ray Allen and knock down shots, but I thought it would've been better to go with KG or even Pierce at the end.

*swears to myself continuously*

Why can't we get 2 of the big 4 playing well at the same time. It was Ray n Rondo in game 2, now just KG today. This loss su(#ed
Anything is possible!!!
