  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale

Ray -- A record setting night.  Amazing.

Rasheed -- Gave us a huge lift with his rebounding.

Robinson -- Allowed Rondo to get some rest by playing some great minutes.

Rondo -- The guy repeated last year's ridiculous playoff performance.  Awesome.

All the negativity in this town sucks. It sucks, and it stinks, and it sucks. - Rick Pitino

Great night by all of these R's. Here is for another R. Rebounding! We out-rebounded them, we got the win. Funny how that works!

I hated the Nate Robinson trade originally, but I am starting to come around.  The guy is like Vinnie Johnson, instant O off the bench.  The guy had 7 points in 6 minutes and when Rondo came back he looked fully recharged.

Amen. Said it well. I'd give you a TP but karma rules and all. Everyone in the game thread has gotten theirs.

But, yes, Ray in the first half. Sheed timely throughout and could have/should have, played more, Nate was amazing in his minutes, gave the team exactly what we needed, and Rondo...well, Rondo is incredible again.

First half MVP- Ray...Second half--Rondo. Amazing

Rondo's heart and hustle is great. He does it all. And not an R but props to Baby's hustle.

It's really been a joy to see Ray play for the Celtics.  Such an amazing shooter.

I was thinking that too.  I don't think I ever would have understood how great he truly was if I hadn't got to watch him for 82+ games over 3 years.

I think we need some Nate in the first half. Rondo needs to be full speed at the end of halves.

Heh. I've known how great he is since his days at UConn.  ;)

Me too! I love Eddie House and hated to see him out of the green uniform... But know I'm more than excited to see that at least he was traded for someone worth it. Nate has been a good contribution even when not playing. He always has a lot of energy in the sidelines, you can mistake him for a cheerleader, lol.

Not an R, but props to the guy too... I think, overall, when every player contributes with something, as little as it may seem at the moment, we win. We gotta stick with teamwork... like Doc Rivers said: "I know you all wanna win, but you gotta do it TOGETHER!" I will quote that all my life as a Celtics fan, haha.

I watched game 2 again yesterday .. I don't wanna take away from Rays performance but how the hell did Rondo manage to almost quietly notch a triple-double? In a finals game?  In L.A.?  It was almost like I expected him to do it ..
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

In my book P has been good, amazing if you don't take scoring into equation, but KG has been in shut down mode for more than a few games in a row.
