Okay, Perk lost his man every time...Bynums leg, probably a fake advertisement that WORKED very well on us......Never believe the other coach or his media....it is a chess match you know....Perk lost his man, always tries that "I'll help defense.." Gets a foul.....KG the same, lost Gasol so many times, look at the points those two put up....All you have to do with those types, is start contact as soon as they come under the free throw line, boody, body..ect, no hands or elbows, it is easy, but you must STAY ON IT...even when the ball is coming into the paint, the ruse is to move to the ball......then they pass to YOUR man, then you are undone...how many times did that happen last game....hmmmm, too many....Just cover YOUR man, watch the results....like most of you say...don't try to do too much...just do YOUR jobn, and it will work...i know, not just kg and perk, but that is a good place to start..!

Also, see when the lakers shoot...people going into the paint for the rebound..see when the celtics shoot, our guys running back on D...no one ever in the paint looking for a rebound.....HEY SHELDON, show 'em how it is done please......we must have forgotten or are tired again.....no rebounds, no championship, that doesn't mean only D rebounds, or just the easy ones...!

This team got way better at boxing out during the playoffs but, generally, they do not do a very good job at this very basic of basic basketball skills. Shelden is good at it. Baby is very good at it. Neither Rasheed or KG are and Perk seems to get worse at it every year. Pierce has been great at it in the playoffs but was horrendous at it during the season.

Simply put, we are not a good rebounding team.  It would be nice if KG decided to show up, but I feel the days of him dominating the paint are long gone.

Until we play better interior defense, it won't matter if we box out.  The Lakers owned us inside, and that was disappointing.  We should be a tougher team inside.

We need Larry to bust out "we played like sissies" comment, because it's quite appropriate at the moment...

Hey Nick...! I just hate seeing Gasol and Bynum get easy access to our hoop all night long. They made us look pretty bad. Perk...I am starting to think that the only reason he was so good at covering howard...is because howard never went anywhere.......he was always where perk was......howard would run down the floor, body up with perk, push, elbow..ect.....see, perk couldn't lose him....perk loses people, if his guy goes out of the paint and comes back in.....perk is lost, just like perk gets lost on pick and rolls......always ends up with the wrong man......philly jackson is smart enough to see this, and he will use it...! Perk had some great gamesw, did great on howard......but his game is going down....soft on offense, lost on a moving defense.....dumb on setting pics...how many times do you get called for a moving screen before you figure out how to do it correctly...! Duh, it isn't calculus...!

Good point about Howard.  Which goes to show just how dumb of a basketball player he is.  If he worked on his understanding of the game as much as his biceps he's be a great player.  But his game is mechanical and predictable at the present...  Perk knew exactly where he was going and Howard never adapted...

Hey AJ...thanks for the TP..i was chomping at the bit to get 190....LOL....Well, Perk....i wish he could just stay with Bynum...where ever he goes...at least watch him, more intelligently, until he comes near the paint. He is only dangerous inside. Gasol needs to be glued to, we let him look strong last game..he is better...but we should be able to stop him. Gasol could be the X factor.

oh, there goes my blood pressure.....artest......how can people say the celts are physical or dirty, after all we have been through this year. Wade back dooring rondo, flat out ran him over, and a few other miami guys also. Shaq thrownig perk down and laying on him, and rondo and the rest of that hack-fest........then howard the elbow ect...now artest....did you see him grab PP from behind and throw his body backwards into him, bringing him down on top of pp, and all van dumbdy could say was " double tech and good playoff bball" more championship wrestling from no talent, no skilled players...pro hackers.......the celts need an enforcer, that must be the 100th time i said that. Want to send someone like that after us.......deal with our Greg Kite.......hammer kobe right after they hit pp, or ray or rondo...people like that only understand force, and THEY don't deal with it well...they will run.

What i wish happened when artest pulled pp down was that pp reached his elbow, or should i say arm, for PC purposes, back across artests' neck and gently depressed artest neck, with pp's 240lbs......Hey when you play with fire, you are apt to get burned, play to hurt someone, you might get hurt..!

i wish paul kept his arm hooked with artests and turned the other way, thus hyperextending artest's arm.  how great would that have been to have one of artest's games backfire in the first minute of the finals so he would miss the series  ;D

DL, nice to hear from you again....nice someone agrees with me too...LOL...I gave ya a  TP, even though you have ...like 3k of em...LOL, you earned 'em..! Oh how i would love to have seen that, a flat out dirty move like that breaking the perps arm...! Oh justice where art though...! You know, even if i wasn't a Celtic fan myself, i just haven't seen, nor remember any real dirty Celtic plays....do you..? Or any of you out there..? Give me ONE deliberate, real dirty, non retaliation one......because i don't know of any. PP, ray, rondo....they aren't the type. PP can be dramatic (wheelchair) but that won't hurt anyone (it was sort of embarrassing LOL) Ray, too classy, no dirt on that guy..( I used to hate Rayray, but that was UMass vs UConn days, Hey!) (and only because he was soooo dern good type hate, not real hate!) Now I luv him! Perk, no dirt, he gets a beating from all the dirty players, doesn't even ratailiate, KG, might body in hard, but that is life on the post, never seen someone go down from his elbow...! And how do people call out the way he hit howards arm that time, WHERE WAS HOWARDS ARM.....up on kg's rib cage? DUH, what was it doing there? Not legal, is it.....i think no. Do you think that was the first time the flaming elbow manhandled KG....with the ref looking away....WE have to win this series for the greater good of Basketball, to keep the refs from ruining this game, this sport, and to fix the NBA for these stupid, one sided game start times, should be 7pm here, 4pm there....if the game started at 4 pm here, you would find a way to get there, and think about the kids here, the future fans, 9pm...on a school night....

sheldon better not play a single second the remainder of the finals after what he did tonight.  the only way he should if we are up by 20+ pts with under 3 min in game.

TP DL and sorry to rain on your Shelden love Meadowlark but Shelden should be embarrassed with just how unprepared mentally he was to play this game. He made more mental errors in 3 minutes tonight than Big Baby has in the past two series. he tried to over do everything and he cost the Celtics 5 points and momentum going into the half.

Hopefully we won't see foul trouble as bad as we have on our bigs anymore and Shelden sits but if he ever has to play again, if he just plays within himself like he has all season, he will be fine.

I'd rather play Perk on Gasol than Bynum... hopefully short turnaround and flying across the country takes Bynum's knee back to painville.
