Just wanted to get ahead of things.

Regroup, people. We can still get game 2.

Go Celtics!

  • GOT IT!!!
I don't think anyone is panicking but it sucks to already have pressure on the C's. It might be better if Game 2 was Saturday instead of Sunday.

its ok if we lost this one,

from what I've seen in this game

A. Celtics is not playing Celtics ball
B. Ray Allen was in foul trouble, couldn't get his rhythm
C. Theyre leaving their man and not preventing from second chance points

I see 14 2nd chance points and 0 for the Celtics somewhere in the 3rd quarter, Out rebounded us, and out played us

At least for the plus side, I'm seeing the Celtics fight back in the 4th, believing in themselves to cut from 20 down to 10, I like that thought, although it was a little bit too late, but hey theyre not giving up. I still like our chances

Or course the sky is not falling.

If we show up with a better effort and the Lakers still win...then we have to start looking for the umbrella.

  • Rondo = Good
I'm not panicing.

I'm just hoping what we saw tonight was the Celtics not rising to the level of the competition - the only other explanation is that the level of competition is just a notch above them.  I don't think that's true, but I'm worried.

If KG continues to play like that and Rondo can't be transcendent...we're pretty much done.  KG scared me more than anything else.  In '08, he was unflappable.  Tonight he looked shaky and out of touch.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

You panic if you lose Game 2.
And then you really start to panic if you lose a game at home.

However, if you win Game 2, you go home for 3, and you are in great shape to go back to LA up 3-2.

Its early, this is game 1 of a 7 game series.  Anything can happen. Its nice to get the lead, but its not the end of the world.

Time to hit the panic button

Not...it's just one game...you can't win every game...you can't play good every game...the Celts have shown the ability all playoffs to make the right adjustments and bounce back...we should all know that by now...we have shown that these long layoffs actually hurt us...i would say the sloppy passes out of bounds...rondo getting the ball stolen in the backcourt...kg missing bunnies...let's face it...the fakers had a little bit more energy,a little more bounce and were more aggressive...and if this series is based on energy and hustle...then we more than match up with the fakers…who really had a good game for them…kobe and pau…that’s it…we will come back sharper and more aggressive in game 2...doc and tibs will make adjustments...i would rather go back to boston with a win in game 2...this is just one game...the lakers can't play much better and we can...all we is a split in the first two games...

Even if we drop Game 2 (not that I want that to happen), we can still win 3 in Boston and steal either Game 6 or Game 7.

It was just one game. As bad it was, it was one game and maybe the prolonged rest explained our poor shooting night too (we got a lot of wide open looks from three but couldn't make none).

Also, I find it kind of surprising how the media are praising the Lakers all over the place when they all did was take care of HCA in game 1. You would think they won on the road or won 3 games in a row.

TP, Drucci.

Well, they got their one-game championship, now it's time for the Celtics to win the real one. They lost game 1, but they have what it takes to win the next 4.

It takes 4 games, Ubuntu the Finals one more time, Celtics!!!

It is still difficult guys. This year is not like 2008. This time we have to struggle. Not them. If we want to win the finals we have to show more energy than they do. But of course the sky is still not falling...
The Celtics shocked the world again...

I'm not panicking. Just a bad format 2-3-2. I figured we were going to lose the 1st game. The Celts are a lazy team. They have to be threatened in order to wake up and play well. If we don't win game 2 kiss the next Banner bye bye because we won't beat LA 4 out of 5.  We are a fading dream of Ainge.

I just hope the Celtics players get as sick and as angry about what the talking heads are going to be saying.

Especially about Jackson's record after winning game 1.
