Ugh, It doesn't help that I had to watch this game in a bar full of Lakers fans...

Though I did whoop some dude's behind (Lakers fan) in some 1 on 1 after work before I watched the game (in my work clothes, w/ no shoes on while he was wearing sneakers).

I felt rather miserable watching the Celtics stumble in the second-half after we were holding our own through-out the first quarter (Lakers went on a run near the end of the second-half). Ray was a non-factor due to fouls and we were soft in the paint, even against Gasol and Bynum.

Rondo and Nate Robinson played well, as expected. However, the Lakers will likely out-shoot us from the perimeter on their own court (especially if Ray Allen can't get his shot going early) so we have to be able to convert our offensive possessions in or near the post and defend the 3-point arc better in game 2.

Before I watched the game I saw that film 'Just Wright' with Dwight Howard. I'm not going to spoil the movie too much but it's about a fictional star point guard for the New Jersey Nets. Sadly, that film left a better taste in my mouth than the Celtic's effort in Game 1. Almost makes me regret losing to the NJ Nets earlier this season:

To make matters worse the bartender working the bar that I watched the game at was smoking-hot, an also probably a Lakers fan...(Thank goodness I quit smoking...lol)  ::)

Bottom line is that the Celtics need to be able to win at least 1 game in Los Angeles in this series, otherwise we're cooked. Kevin Garnett needs to assert his defensive authority in Game 2, and for the rest of this series...
