Its over for you guys, here's why.

1. KG is DONE. The ref's aren't going to tolerate his crap in the finals and he will be ineffective and probably a liability on both offense and defense. Without KG playing at a high level, you guys dont stand a chance.

2. Ron Artest will completely shut down Paul Pierce. If your a Boston fan and you think Pierce can overcome this, your about to learn a lesson and you obviously haven't been watching Ron do his work.

With #1 and #2 said, I could already stop here and tell you that's why were going to win the title, but there's more.

3. Kobe is playing at the highest level of his career. Double team? He's elevating and hitting the jumper over you or dishing for the dime to Gasol, Fish, Bynum or Artest. You will not stop Kobe this year. This alone could be said as the difference.

4. Bynum. Even hurt he will be a factor, one the Celtics escaped in 08.

5. Gasol is playing the best playoff basketball of his career.

Honestly, I could go on to #10...but any "knowledgeable fan" should be able to understand numbers one through five have said enough.

Sorry guys, but Kobe is going to put the nail in the coffin for the "big 3". The only positive you have going for you is Rondo, and while he's playing fantastic ball (I watch the games) he's no Magic Johnson. He wont will your team to a championship. Not happening.

You guys won a title in 08! Consider yourselves lucky!

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
I pretty much disagree with every one of those points, other than maybe #5 (and even there, Pau looked pretty terrible in Game 6 versus Phoenix.)

It comes down to one thing, really:  defense.  Ours is better than yours, which is why we're going to take this.

Celtics do all the talking on the floor, but from my standpoint:
1. KG is far from done and any team would have KG in stead of ANY Lakers bigs any day of the week
2. Kobe is great player but has not faced Celtics defense in the playoffs
3. Our bench is skilled, you got Odom(much respect for his play)
4. Rondo and Ray are playing like never before in the playoffs
5. We are winning games on the road frequently and taking care of HC as well
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

1.My prediction is that KG will be the MVP in the finals so he is far from done.

2.Ron Artest will need to play offense in this series you need him to score and that will not happen

3.You don't have defense for Rondo and we don't have defense for Kobe. That's make us even right?

4.You think that you have the best coach? You are so wrong. Remember this Doc Rivers will be the best coach this series.

5.You are calling youselfs a fans? The Staples centar is so quiet that you can hear a fly. And we have the Boston Garden and our fans. enough said

Greetings from Macedonia
Go Celtics!!!

Laker fans seem so insecure. They're doing all this talking. Newsflash, ask Wade, lebron, and howard how it felt to play this defense. The fakers played a bunch of cupcakes in the western conference. They dont foul in the west, they love tap. The physical intensity is about to go up 20 notches. Kobe or any laker coming down that lane is getting hammered. Welcome to eastern conference basketball boston celtics style.

The league wont put up with your crap this year. They have already begun to start calling some of the many illegal screens your bs players pull every night. Its not basketball, its a bunch of classless thugs on the court. We got homecourt advantage this year = we got the refs this time around. paybacks a ****. Mark my words, everyone on this forum will be ****ing about the refs once we finish you off. Enjoy!

Calling our team "classless thugs" equals a ban.  Our rules are pretty clear, and it's disappointing that you came to troll.

I think L.A. fans are going to get a rude awakening after playing through crap like Utah and Phoenix.  The Celtics just beat two teams that would've given L.A. a run for their money while L.A. just beat two teams that would've been eliminated in the second round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

tsk, tsk. is this it? no greeting or sophisticated analysis? all you have to offer is simple taunting and unsupported assertions? nothing more thoughtful than the above?

and no civility? you are in someone else's "home" and a guest. cb folks are glad to discuss, debate, and talk with you. but you really needed to first be polite.

a few days ago cb had a really good exchange with a laker blog. no insults, no childishness.

it was interesting and i learned a lot about your team. you really should try to measure up to that standard... beats being boorish. try it sometime.

go celtics!!!!!
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
