Personally, I think you have to put West in a top-five of Laker greats.  Guys like Shaq, Kareem, and Chamberlain belong in the Top 10 but I have a tough time putting them ahead of the full career guys.

The ring thing should be taken into account but, to me, its not enough to knock West out of the top five when you step back and look at the larger picture.  Plus, he still ended up with a ring as a player.  I'm not even taking his accomplishments in the front office into account

Given the rich history of the Lakers franchise, those numbers are darn impressive and certainly put him in the Top 5, IMO.

Without taking consideration to how Pierce's numbers would drop playing with Shaq & Kobe over the years?  Simply moving Pierce to the Lakers with his numbers remaining the same?

He's at the tail end of top 10 and I think you're debating him and Worthy.  Worthy has Pierce on rings but Pierce's numbers matchup rather favorably, otherwise.  It's a compelling debate.
