Lebron James says Celtics will win 18th Championship

Before sitting down with King, James had not talked any media members since the Cavs were eliminated by the Celtics, who then knocked off Orlando and will meet the Los Angeles Lakers in the finals starting Thursday.

James believes the Celtics can beat the Lakers and win their 18th NBA title.

I agree King James and his EGO would want to loose to the championship team so he can use that excuse and add in the kobe factor

  Seems like a reasonable conclusion. He's just seen the Celts dismantle 2 of the top 3 teams in the league (aside from the Celtics, of course). Both teams were arguably as good or better than the Lakers this year.

Yea it's no surprise Diwght and Lebron want Celtics to win. It will at least mean they were beat by the champions and not the losers. Lebron probably has Kobe on his mind too.

For some reason I've always felt like Lebron James would retire a Celtic. He just seems to have SO much respect for our organization.

Let King James get all his MVP's, money, and numbers then he can join us for the championships. I'll take a 30 year old Lebron James.
