So a couple years back i was on this site, and someone had posted a link to a video of what very much looked like our very own Scal, attempting to do some dribbling drills. Has any1 seen or heard of this video. It's legendary and classic Scal, it's why we love him. If someone has it or knows where i can find it, i would be greatly appreciative.

I can get the name if youd like.  I was at a party 2 years ago after the Celtics won the finals, and my friend pulled out the Scal drills video.  Had almost everyone in tears after 5 minutes.  Video is priceless.

Scal actually handles the ball very well for a big guy. I'm willing to bet a lot of money if you asked 99% of the people on this site to do that last drill on the clip that you'd make it about 1 cone before screwing up and losing the ball. I can see if this was Perk doing a video or something, but the guy handles the ball well. Why do people continue to hate on a great guy and teammate?! How about you accomplish something in your life first before making fun of a guy who has overachieved in his life. You on the other hand are sitting with the rest of us on this blog. Many of you in your mothers basement...

I'm 20 and live in the upstairs bedroom thank you very much.

As for Scal...

1) He is the worst rated basketball player on a team in NBA 2k10 and 3rd worst in the game (fun fact).

2) His talent aside, all of Boston thinks he essentially is a joke, thus the "Scalabrine" chants.

3) If I were to ever purchase a skills dvd to use, I think I'd look at guys like Pierce, Wade, Bryant, etc etc before I worked my way down to the Brian Scalabrine skills DVD.  That my friend, is what sort of makes this a big joke.

Cmon...you really can't expect us to compare ourselves to Scal.  I love Scal, but you have to see the humor of Scalabrine being the spokesperson/instructor for a DVD.  Yes Scal has overachieved.  That is where the humor comes in....also not to make this a race thing but a 6'9" red head is not who you expect to learn your basketball skills from.  Scal is a talented individual when comparing him to the average population, but there is a reason he hasn't been wearing his jersey on game nights.  Again, I love Scal and I hope he drains a 3 over Morrison tonight as they are both getting garbage minutes because the C's are up by 30.

I can expect people to act like grown ups instead of needlessly piling on a guy who has never done anything but give his all. Never complained about huge changes in his role and playing time. Never done anything but be a great citizen and member of the community. Pretend it isn't about race all you want, but if Scal wasn't a pasty white read head no one would rip on him at all. In a world of athletes who rape people, get caught cheating with every girl in town, caught with unauthorized weapons, speeding at reckless speeds, doing drugs, steroids, etc… you'd think we could support the guy and be glad we have him on our squad. Especially when he comes in the game and plays solid when asked to. People ought to have better things to do with their time… Shameless.

R u kidding me man, as NBA standards go, he sucks. Let's be honest here, he is a great guy, but I wouldnt buy my kids his DVD to help them learn the basics of ball handling. The joke is that Scal is the instructor. I guess you need to have a sense of humor to get it....

Scal really needs to get some playing time in Game 2.  If he would have been out there doing the last drill in that video, where he dribbles with the right hand in a crouch position while holding his left hand out towards the defender, that would have given the Lakers defense something to think about.  I love Scalabrine.
