  • KG IS THE KING
A very "political" answer is what I see. If you take out the "edge" word, then it is basically common sense. Of course the fans and the city means something to him, he was there for 7 years afterall and for 25 years in his life. Lebron is like a child who has never left home. We shall see what happens come July 1st.
"I'm from the bottom, I understand what it's like to have and to not have. My perception on giving is to put yourself in those people's shoes and go from there. So that's what I did. " - The One and Only KG

I hope he stays in Cleveland.

The greats of the great have normally stayed and built championship teams themselves.  Maybe he is overrated.

I hope he stays in Cleveland.

The greats of the great have normally stayed and built championship teams themselves.  Maybe he is overrated.

Great like Magic, Michael, Jordan, and Bird all stayed put (until the end of Michael's career, anyway).

Greats like Shaq, Wilt, Kareem, and Oscar Robertson moved on to other places.

I don't think there's necessarily any one mold for a superstar.  If Lebron leaves, I don't think it will hurt his legacy unless he can't win a championship in his career.

Especially the warm memories of being booed.

That's why prefaced it with normally and a few on your list I don't consider the greats of the great.  Top 5 all time are who I was targeting. Let's just say I have more respect for those that stay and build a Championship team.  If he leaves he'll be part of that 2nd tier with Shaq and Oscar.

Kareem and Wilt both won before leaving.

there is no way he stays in cleveland. Big Z is done, Shaq is almost done, Jamison is a washed up dissapointment, Parker is getting older, and they have no flexibility to attract good players to  support Lebron. He would be a fool to stay.

Or he ' really does love Ohio ' and he's supposedly the best player in the game.  What did Jordan have early in his career?

I think he leaves because he doesn't really care as much about winning as he does his cred.

The cadaver interviews the messiah....Viewed by 76 people?  LOL

I could care less where the messiah lands as long as it's not in Boston.

actually Wilt did not win a championship with the Warriors, which was his first team.
