Pierce needs the ball early in the shot clock. He can either get another foul on Ron or a better look than what we've been getting.

Kg! Great block.

That PP three was as far down as a shot can go without falling in.

If a few of these looks went we'd be up. We are hanging in there and not playing well, so can't totally complain.

Refs are ruining any rhythm to this game for both teams. Just too many whistles all around.

  • GOT IT!!!
The tempo favors LA and their lazy relaxed team.

They've played with the lead the entire game so far. Put some pressure on these fools!

Lakers are carving up our perimeter D. Just embarrassing.

Very hard to run off of missed shots when we're constantly battling underneath the rim.

Pierce and Rondo have combined to pull down 8 of the team's 13 rebounds

Perk and Garnett have only two rebounds in a combined 26 minutes of playing time. They need to step it up on the backboards.

Lakers 21-13 advantage on the glass

  • It's not hard to work hard.

Also, Rondo's back is tight - he's doing a lot of stretching and bending over during breaks in action. So that's good news.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

C's offense has been horrid.  Their rebounding has been lackluster.  LA is showing a lot more hustle -- particularly the benches.

C's need to pick it up and play smarter real fast

Gasol is humiliating KG. He's far and away the better player tonight.

We are not looking to hot right now.

How can the Celtics NOT show up for game 1 of the NBA finals? Horrendous basketball so far.
