Too much of a revenge factor for the Lakers, they'll come out swinging.  HCA will get the Lakers off to a good start.

Lakers will win first 2 at home, it's the 3 middle games in Boston where it will get interesting.

I'm not worried about Rondo, Lakers have seen better in Williams, Westbrook and Nash.  Lakers have dealt with those premiere scoring guards just fine.  Interestingly enough, Deron Williams and Nash are great 3 point shooters; Rondo isn't.

It's the KG/Pau matchup that will probably decide the series.  If Pau plays tough, the Lakers have a great chance at ending this quick.

Let the games begin.

TP, for the beginnings of what I hope to be some healthy dialogue for the next 2 weeks!

And as for Rondo, the guy is playing on a special level this post season. scoring is the least of his weapons and he has done that at an excellent clip - including nailing a bunch of perimeter shots.

The hustle, the team and man to man defense combined with the Nash/Kidd-like vision has been an inspiration to watch. If he is healthy, watch out.  :)

Hey Bahku - Can I Email you a Stahbux coffee?

Anyway here is No 9 on the Q-list:

Back in 1981 after the Celtics defeated the Sixers in the Greatest Series Ever, there was the formality of beating the Rockets to claim the 14th Championship - Larry Bird missed a shot from deep then hustled to the baseline to retrieve his miss by jumping and in one motion while flying toward the baseline put up a floater over Moses Malone to make a 9.9 degree of difficulty basket. This sparked the Celtics to a one game to nil lead in the 1981 NBA Finals.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Tell me about it, man. I can see the anger seething off of people when I rock my Paul Pierce shirt around LA. They absolutely cannot handle it. The truth just isn't for everbody  ;)

Looking forward to hurrying down to the Staples Center after the game 6 win to send our 2010 champions home with the fanfare they deserve. Lets go Celtics! Here's to number 18!
Never stop believing baby~

Should be a dandy of a Finals (did I just say "dandy"  ::) )

I'm hoping for a split in LA.  Let's take Game 1 then go for the gravy in Game 2!

BRING IT ON HOME!
Yup

Has any championship series taken this long to get underway?  the suspense has been killing me.  had to get up a 5:30AM to work today.  hope I'm still conscious by the end (provided the adrenaline rush hasn't done so by then).

I know, it's going to be a long day after getting up at 5am.  Will suck tomorrow getting up that early too since I don't drink coffee either  ;D.
