I was looking at the cap space C´s have and we are going to be getting rid of contracts that are giving us some chances next season.  I would like to see us next season like this:

Players under contract:
KG
Pierce
R.Wallace
Perkins
Big Baby (Fuzzy Bear)
Rondo-mania

Re-signed playes
R.Allen
N.Robinson
S.Williams

Free agent addition(s)
Amare Stoudamire or Chris Bosh
PG
SG

Amare Stoudamire would be a great fit for C´s and give us extra muscles in the paint and complimenting with Rondo´s game perfectly. Rondo drives to the paint and always has Amare to knock it down; similar to KG´s style in his first year at Boston. I dont know if there is a trade needed for a "player´s option" contracts or not but I assume it is which will make it a more complicated deal, but possible nevertheless.

Even though we have a lot of salaries that are expiring, we're still over the projected salary cap, and won't have the $17 million or so necessary to sign a guy like Bosh or Amare.

The most we'll have to spend on free agents is going to be the mid-level exception (MLE), worth about $5.6 - $5.8 million, which can be used on one player (like last season with Rasheed) or split between multiple players (like in 2008, with Posey, House, etc.).

Oh crap!  ???  This is exactly the reason why I dont want salary cap in the English football (soccer). It would be impossible to understand but would still help the game immensely!  ;D  thanks for the link, Roy.
