I wish I could give a TP to this guy:
Quote
They were better than us, we had home court advantage, the odds were stacked against them and they came through. Good luck boston in the next round, if suns win I am rooting for them, if lakers win I am indifferent
Celtics fan for life.

Hahaha whats with all the Paul Pierce hate?

These guys are really bitter, its unbelievable, but props to the people that gave the C's credit and remained cool.

Also, I can't believe some of the Orlando fans that said the only people on the celtics they were happy for were Perk, TA, Nate.

Perk- I thought every team hates him
TA - Why?
Nate- ReallY? I mean I like him, but he isn't exactly one of those feel good, likeable players like Ray Allen.

Wait was that one guy talking about "Allen" as in Ray Allen? Yeah, too lazy to go back and look.
"Life has so many hurdles. Some of them I've hopped over, and some of them I've tripped over. The key is to get back up and finish the race."

What I find funny is how after we beat the Heat I read enjoy it now you'll get crushed by the Cleveland. Then it was OK fine the elbow let you guys win but have fun getting swept by Orlando. And now it's we'll get steamrolled by a team that hasn't even won their series yet.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I cannot believe I wasted 5 minutes of my life reading that garbage. I would have to say that it was 100% emotion and no facts and data.

Oh well, it doesn't matter, I am moving on to Phoenix or LA. And tonight is an important scouting game and deserves a chat meet-up.

BTW Byron Scott believes we would have a lot of trouble with the Suns. That does make sense since they have inside - outside setup like Orlando does and their bench is far superior to Cleveland and Orlando's bench.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Honestly, it was a tough series in general but even more so for Magic fans.  They had been so dominant and then everything came crashing down.  People by nature are very emotional and this is just like dissecting a piece of the population at its most frustrated, angry, and negative time.  I don't take any of that as a true representation of the city of Orlando or it's fan base.

I will say one thing, every time I read another blog's forums I realize I'm very happy that Celticsblog is my home. ;)

QFT and TP.  I'm sure if the situation was reversed and we came in and lost the series like they did I'd be frustrated and downhearted.  The mods do a good job of keeping that kind of thing from going on here but any place you allow that kind of thread to go on, it just feeds into itself as people say stupid things.

I know if I was a Magic fan I'd be sick we're locked into VC and Lewis for a ton of money next year, neither of those two looked like they are (or will be) capable of being the 2nd star on a championship level team.  ;D
