I don't know what's worse the length some of you go to justify his stupidity or just Matt Barnes in general.

Barnes has been baiting KG all series.  Pushed him game 3, taunted him in game 4, elbowed him game 5.

Matt Barnes your classic never was.

Next up trade idea Matt Barnes for BBD?

By saying that he acknowledged that Howard is a dirty player otherwise for what reason would one of our players target him? Pretty foolish of him to expose himself that way, real class act.

And if the C's want to make a statement, I'd said Rondo or Pierce right at Howard in an early possession with the intention of dunking on him at all cost. Even if he clocks one of them, it sends the message that we're attacking the rim hard, and without abandon.

This is what I was hoping for the last game, we need to attack, Rondo specifically if its clogged up penetrate and dish to the open man. Lets move the ball. Lets get back to Celtics basketball!!

Although I think I said I wanted Howard McHale'd yesterday, the more I think about it, the best get back is just to send Howard home for the summer. Stay above the fray, play hard, play relatively clean (ie, keep the elbow's down below the shoulders), close out, box out, don't let nelson get comfortable by switching multiple defenders on him and closing the lane, and most essentially, WIN THE GAME.

And if the C's want to make a statement, I'd said Rondo or Pierce right at Howard in an early possession with the intention of dunking on him at all cost. Even if he clocks one of them, it sends the message that we're attacking the rim hard, and without abandon. Plus, another Howard hard foul would fire up the Gahden.

i agree 100% with everything you just said. the best revenge is sending the magic back to disneyworld....

only way to get these guys to shut up...the media to shut up is to go out and handle the business at home tonight. anything less that a high energy and frantic team will be disappointing. this is the season and this has the tradition and honor of the celtics on the line. i dont want the greatest franchise in sports to have this choke stain on it

Let me just call it right now.  Matthew Barnes has a horrible game tonight and they lose.

There.

Very annoying player.  The constant attempts to bait KG into technicals/shoving matches added nothing to the game.
