Why not share your enthusiasm with the NBA, well, with the NBA?

I'm sure they don't listen (see the auto-response Twinbree got in another thread), but to me it was marginally more satisfying to really let them know how the entertainment value of their product last night was tarnished by the officiating.  Maybe you will feel better too!

Oops - I see the Email/Supergirl thread started along the same lines.

Moderator(s), feel free to help make this contact_us thread go away.  As the OP, I don't mind.

already did...here is the automated reply...the NBA is a farce...I have no respect for Stern and the NBA:

Thank you for contacting the National Basketball Association regarding the league’s disciplinary policies.

NBA games are extremely competitive and intense, which can result in very physical play. While we understand that emotions sometimes run high, we take infractions of NBA rules very seriously. Please know that we closely review each game and follow up with appropriate disciplinary action as we strive to uphold league rules and promote good sportsmanship.

We understand your concern and appreciate your feedback regarding this issue.

Sincerely,

NBA Fan Relations

And I didn't get a response yet.  Maybe some intern is getting to write out something.  As I mentioned in another thread last night, perhaps they will at least notice something is up from a blip in the webstats.

My second email to NBA.com just went like this:

A few of us have been discussing the canned responses they have been receiving via this "contact us" page.  Some are irate, me, I'm just bummed I never got a response.  What's up with that?  Am I too low to respond to or are you guys carefully crafting a response?

I tried to send an email, then tried to post on the NBAfan site,  then tried NBA Facebook. No Luck! Finally sent a letter snail mail to:

The National Basketball Association
645 Fifth Avenue
New York, NY   10012

Even if no one reads it, someone will at least have to put out the effort to throw it in the trash.

  • You say when......
Dear Sirs, I am a 47 year old male, lifelong NBA fan. That #5 Celtics game was one of the worst officiating displays I have ever seen. If you want to lose your credibility, and a major amount of intelligent fans, keep letting this happen. You are on the way to your own championship wrestling style league. The refs used to be invisible, consisitant, and kept players..alive. Like when they warned Dikembe Motumbu about his elbows. Now, the refs rule the game, control the outcome, ruin the game and the sport. You better think about it! That was my email.........uhoh, told you guys my age....LOL, hey, i just finished my second league this season, night time 2nd place, lunch time 2nd place, I am player coach....more like a leon powe type...but i can still get it done...!
