Was KG on the floor?

I can see his name in the Box Score, but can’t remember him being on the floor.  Not even one play comes to mind…..oh wait,  I remember now, he was feeding KPerkins a couple of times in the first quarter.  Yep, KG feeding KPerkings while Perk was being defended by the Defensive Player of the Year.  Oh and by the way, KG was being defended by RLewis at the time…….hhhhmmmm????!!!???

I can tell you one thing, we’ll need KG on game 6, get his head right and bring his “A” game.     >:(

KG got hot for a stretch in the second half, as his jumper was falling.  That was about it, though.

He had a really bad game -- 5-14 from the floor and few rebounds. He needs to ratchet it up 10 times Friday night, as does Ray Allen.

No-shows from KG & Rondo make this C's team incredibly average, and that's what you got last night...

KG was a no-show. Rondo was average.

Rondo was probably a bit below his own average, but he looked a lot better than Game 4.

KG was non-existent for most of the game, and Ray didn't play very well, either.

I thought Rondo was horrible because he was only looking out for his own offense and not looking to set up his teammates.

That being said, KG and Rondo need to step it up and win this thing on Friday.

Ray running around and KG shooting jumpers will be there if Orlando plays the same kind of defense. Running the offense through Pierce is playing right into Orlando's strengths.

We have great shooters on this team. As good as Orlando's even. It is time we started utilizing them.

Give credit where its due. Magic had a fantastic game plan coming into the series. They have naturalized KG's size advantage by fronting with Rashard & Dwight helping over the top. Unlike Mike Brown, SVG along with his assisting coach JVG have kept KG in check. You gotta believe Stan can't come up with the gameplan by himself. Maybe Celtics can get his shot going, and forget about his post-ups cause it ain't working.

Kg can post Rashard. The Celtics totally went away from what was working in the Cleveland series. The KG pick and pop for a 15-18 ft jumper for Garnett.

Dwight Howard was playing KG for alot of that game which is why the jumper was open. They have to make Orl pay for that matchup.

Totally agree. Dwight roaming against Perk is acceptable to a degree, but you must make him pay if he decides to roam against KG. 2-3 shots by KG, literally opens up the floor for everyone.

I dont know the exact breakdown of minutes in game 5 that Howard was on KG. There were long stretches when Lewis and also Bass were on Garnett. Where in the world in the KG pick and roll that was working so well last series.

He most certainly needs to stop hesitating and shoot the ball and stop making no look passes to Perk hoping he can finish ( which inevitably is TO ).  I would much rather he be the one trying finish with or without any lift.

Yup, if anyone needs to force his own offense on this team, its KG. Unless a definite double is coming from Howard, KG needs to go to work - with a foot in the paint.
