After coming to terms with the abysmall way we played the fourth qurater, I am still left with a bad taste in my mouth.

I just don't feel we got a fair shake in that game. I am not one to believe in conspiracys, but every stinking time we cut the lead to six, the T's and ticky tack calls started.

Both of perk's T's, espically the first one, were brutal and ridiculous.

Rondo's T was also ridiculous. As JVG and MJ said, why on earth is it any of Crawford's buissness if Rondo is calmly asking the other offical, who made the ticky tack call on the other end, what he was called for?

Joey came in and escalated that situation, then Called a T while rondo turned away...ridiculous

I can deal with a bad loss where we didn't play well, but it's tough to sswallow one where we weren't givin a fair shake, for whatever reason, by the officating crew.

Ah well, hopefully one, or both, of Perks T's gets recinded. We move on, but man, thats all i could tink of as the fourth ran down last night "I don't mind a loss, but this one feels like it was 5-8 for much of the night"

all 3 techs were an absolute joke. not to mention the contrast in fouls called. you can't allow one team to throw elbows and make lots of physical contact while whistling the other team for ticky tacky fouls.

Agree.  In the first quarter they got the ball into Howard.  He went up for the shot, banged into Pierce (who was set outside the circle) and knocked him to the ground while scoring.  No call either way.  I said, "alright, if you're going to let them play physical, it better be consistent for both sides".  It wasn't.

That was my "uh-oh" moment.  Howard blatantly bulldozed a set Pierce and the ref just watched.  No way in the world should that degree of contact ever be a no-call.  It was like watching young Shaq all over again.

I thought Rondo had some renewed life right before the technical but seemed to be out of it after crawford did his the game is about me routine.

Amazing that this play occurred in the same game as that ticky tack personal foul that eventually got Perk thrown out of the game.

Which ironically wasn't even a foul.  Pretty sad that he got 2 unwarranted techs and ejected.  I hate conspiracy theorists but, I was questioning somethings last night.

Except Shaq got legitimate position without elbowing everyone in his path and getting every single call.  Dwight either elbows or shoves his way into the paint and either gets position or gets a foul...its a joke.  On every play after the whistle he hits somebody.  He has connected on about 7 "inadvertent" elbows so far this series, not to mention the other series and last year when he got suspended for doing the same thing.  The guy is a fraud.  At least shaq had a post game and touch.  Shaq was too big and too strong but at least he played basketball.  Dwight is a joke.

It doesn't have to be an out and out conspiracy for things to be broken. If all the incentives (for the refs, TV, the owners, and the league) are pointed in one direction, then why would it be surprising that officiating is extremely biased for the team facing elimination.

Also, somethings don't have to be explicitly be said to be understood. Let's see if Eddie F Rush or Joey Crawford are reprimanded for their actions last night. The fact is they won't be. They'll probably get to ref again in the finals. What does that say to you?

The entire media is starting to feel sorry for us. The Magic are a bunch of punks that need to be spanked by 40 points Friday night.

What are you reading?  Other than Rosen I haven't seen much talk about the bogus techs from any national news source.

I, after this brutal Game 5, now wholeheartedly believe that these people dressed in black and white should not be given the benefit of the doubt; previously, I had dismissed this notion that they fix games and are blatantly biased. I now cannot believe in anything but that.  :o

At this point I don't have thoughts, I have feelings.
1. I am angry at the refs for those outrageous techs
2. I am nervous about the series
3. Although it has decreased I am still hopeful
