Hey Man have a TP if it will make you feel better.

We will all feel better after tomorrow night. Dwight and his elbows will be Going Fishing.

Thanks. I just want this team to win so badly. I really expected them to lose last night and then win it Friday, but I did not expect the confluence of bad things that happened last night. Just unbelievable.

  • Rondo = Good
Yeah, last night was tough.  Game 4 was difficult but at least they got themselves back in it and had the chance to win the game (probably would have if they had simply taken a timeout with 15 seconds left).  Game 5 was simply brutal.  As close to a nightmare as we could possibly expect.

If the Celtics make some adjustments and get good games from most of their important players, they should win Friday.  Hopefully the refs will be on their side again.

I'm worried, though.  If the Celtics become the biggest punchline in NBA history I don't know if I'll be able to watch NBA basketball for the next year or so....
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

I don't want to sound negative, but if we lose this series what can I do? I'm not sure I can live with this, will there be a Celtics choke anonymous group I can join?

And reading the paper or listening to the radio or watching TV or being on the web is just making things worse. Everyone is saying Baby definitely won't play (which I believe) and Sheed either won't play or if he does play he will be ineffective due to his back injury. If this truly is the case, the Celts will have Perk and Shelden to guard Howard. It is going to take a miracle for the Celts to pull this series out at this point.  :'(

That's assuming that Perk gets at least 1 tech rescinded.  If the league doesn't do that I'm seriously considering abandoning the NBA altogether.  What a farce.

I think you should step off the ledge until you actually see who plays on Friday.

' Everyone ' has no clue as to whether BBD will play or Sheed will be limited.

I'm tired but still too angry to be depressed. The day is still young, the sun is out, and we have a game to win tomorrow night. Don't be bummed. I know a TP won't help you feel better but here it is anyway.

I feel the same way  :-X

I've been trying to avoid sports-related discussion anywhere ever since the game 5 loss. :( My worst nightmare (the Celts not staying healthy) came true, and it stings..

Gosh, I am even willing to root for the Lakers in the finals should they face the Magic; Dwight is officially my least favorite NBA player EVER. Dirty, dirty, and DIRTY!!  ???

I can't think of any other player that I so strongly despise.
