This is what happens when you allow them. Injuries, ejections, poor officiating. This freakin sucks. Guys are dropping like flies. Orlando has confidence now. Makes me sick.

The price of our total lack of focus Monday night looks pretty expensive right now.

If David Stern decides to uphold the horrific calls against Perkins, we have little or no chance Friday night without Perkins. Baby could be done for the series.

Almost two complete games now of totally unfocused, inept basketball. Terrible defense, no ball movement, terrible shot selection, no defensive rebounding.

It's VERY hard to get away with this kind of bad basketball in the playoffs. And for the record, we cannot win this series the way Rondo has played the past two games.

Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

C'mon man we will win this series, no matter what.

Yeah definitely why it makes sense to finish a series sooner rather than later because anything can happen. Monday's mistakes do seem costly now but they can make up for it if they stay focused and win on Friday. If this doesn't give us a sense of urgency to close this series out nothing will.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I would say the majority of us expected to the see the C's in this position before the series started. The series is still 3-2 and it really doesn't matter how it got that way.

If the C's can't win on Friday they were never suppose to win this series anyway.

We look very beat up and very tired. Game 6 is an all or nothing proposition.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

sorry, but I call BS on this rationale.

You know what?  Coming into this series I was ready to be happy with anything, literally anything, that the Celtics gave me to be happy about in this series.  They'd already far exceeded my expectations, so I couldn't rightly be disappointed no matter what happened.

But now, after being up 3-0?  I can't do it.  I can't be satisfied with a total choke.  If the Celtics become a punchline - one of the biggest punchlines in the history of the NBA, synonymous with "choke" - then I will have a hard time even wanting to watch the C's play for quite some time.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

No question it will hurt to be the butt of endless jokes but it hasn't happened. If the C's play their best the are still the better team.

Ya I can't agree with this either.

We should have won this series 4 to zilch.

Poor performances these last 2 games doesn't make fans happy or satisfied.

mark my words, the magic are not winning this series. Whether it's friday or game 7, they will go down. The celtics are too proud and tough.

I agree but the injury situation throws a wrench in the gears. If Sheed is out that's very bad news.
