The Celtics out and out played exactly the way Orlando wanted them to. They fell for the pics, they ended up with the D assignments that Orl wanted. We couldn't read them, didn't adjust to them, and pretty much did everything that Orlando wanted.

Yes, we almost won, and that shows that we shouldn't even have let them in......It was a poor effort, poor offensive plans....maybe even bad coaching....that, we may never really know. We don't know if they didn't listen, or weren't told.

Paul-ball, has to stop..that may be an indication of where the chemistry problem was. Who could love that. Maybe if he took the ball, dribbled a bit to get the hand, pass it off, and move to the post, or a better postion, but to shut out the rest of the team, have them watch and clear out for his act....come on.....should have at least put in Sheldon, so he could go for the rebound (s).......That is how other teams lose...not US.

When Perk found Howard (elbow-man) he shut him down good, but perk lost him a lot, how could you lose him on a pic and roll, you know who your man is, when you cover someone like that, you can't "help out", stay with your man.

PP had TA and BBD so in control, they looked for him only, as the shot clock ran out...... Team ball Paul.

Reddick getting hot....open and making shots.....come on, Lewis in the corner open, making shots. Perk needs to dribble into a pic situation up top, stop that pass and step junk....easier, and gives you more options.

The Celts need to call out those pics for each other. Get some room for Ray......

CSN can't carry the games after the first round of the playoffs since their exclusive to national tv stations.

I don't mind espn because I prefer the announcing team of Breen/JVG/Marc Jackson to the TNT Marv Albert/Fratello/Miller team.

Hey, this was my 1000th post!

Yea I hate watching sports on ESPN. I think they have the worse HD quality.  ABC is the best IMO for sports.

Listening to the announcers on ESPN is like listening to wrk-ORLANDO......they loved howards elbows, said it was playoff basketball......orlando wins the game, or lets it slip...the Celtics get no "On top" credit....not much from anyone, but def not from these guys. I actually thought the homers where on local radio...? Who pays these guys.....Is it possible to announce a game with no bias...?

i think the reason we had to resort to "paul-ball" was that nobody else is getting it done. KG was turning down open jumpers, rajon walking the ball, ta losing the ball, ray cant get open. if paul didnt take charge the magic wouldve pulled away. the result of all this was he was gassed at the end of the game. same with kg, but i think the howard cross matches were the reason for that. perk should do a better job of running back for defense. that's why we fell behind at the start, perk guarding shard, kg guarding howard.

i think their spacing was the real problem of their offense last night. not much off ball movement.

anyway, what's the difference between perk's "moving screens" to howard's "solid pick"? i dont see much difference

Well, I agree with that...Howard gets away with....a real lot.....flying elbows, now called playoff basketball..hmmm, so that means KG can do it now also..of course only on the court..! As for perks screens, it would just be better, besides, no one is covering perk when he has the ball out there, dribble like he is going somewhere, just back into rondo's guy, then dish it to rondo.....

As for paul-ball, well, we'll never know if anything else would have worked, but not moving the ball around......usually removes your team from the game, but hey, if we won, some would say it was the best thing ever.
