Media chatter about Tony Allen's ankle and Rondo's muscle spasms, as well as understated play from both in Game 4, has me wondering if Robinson might be in line for more minutes.

With that in mind, some quotes from Chris Sheridan's latest ESPN piece.

I really respect how enthusiastic Nate has been on the bench.  He's the first one up to congratulate his teammates and the most excited cheerleader during the game.

I hope they re-sign him on the cheap and give him a chance to meld with the team during pre-season and on.

Perhaps the thinking is to fill the roster out with journeyman veteran minimums? There could be a lot of House/Posey like deals for the Knicks this offseason if they can make some FA noise.

Did Walker have weight issues in Boston?  I don't remember that being something that stood out to me, he always seemed to be a naturally big but athletic guy.

Well that could very well work.  There are a lot of good free agent players that aren't the max guys who are really good.  If NY can bring in some big names I'm sure some of those guys will want to sign on to see if they can win something alongside them.

Maybe the famous Manhattan pizza got the best of him?  :D I don't remember hearing about any weight problems.

There is no reason to commit to guys you don't need to commit to. There are plenty of unsigned young guys who you can pick up instead of Giddens for the minimum.

Did anyone notice what Nate does when Paul hits a three(I don't know if he does it after every three pointer by our team, only noticed when P2 does it). He stands up, gestures a 3 and spins and stuff, I love it  ;D

Personally I was wondering why Doc pulled him so quickly on Monday. He made a few good passes and was working hard on the defensive end. I didn't see anyone take advantage of his size or post him up. He did miss the one shot he took, but that's not reason to pull him. Let's face it, Tony was having a terrible game and Rondo was slowed for whatever reason. I would have given him some more time to get in the flow. I don't see what Doc had to lose the way the other two guys were playing.
