I am concerned. I really don't know what to expect, and tomorrow's game can't come fast enough.

good to see the media doing their part...magic johnson said the magic were done now says they will win game 5 and prolly the series...as does avery johnson....

sigh...i hope the celtics take the underdog approach they had from the cavs series until last night. i dont think i can take a thursday and friday full of the "celtics are the bruins"....and "the celtics are going to choke"....and the "magic are going to make history" and "the celtics are too old and out of gas" talk before a game 6....get this done tomorrow

I was trying to dig up stats from past series where a team was up 3-0 and lost game 4.  I couldn't find any info in any sort of categorized way, and don't have the time do it the hard way.

I know that the series rarely goes to a 6th game, and I think only once has it been pushed to a 7th (I think Denver did this to Utah).

Of course, no one has ever come back to win the series down 3-0 in the NBA.

The scenario that I was looking for was the team who lost game 4 when up 3-0 doing so as a home team.  This can not have happened more than a few times - just by the very nature of the team hosting game 4 is the lower seed, and therefore generally not in the sweeping position.

Unlike the Heat series, the Celts now have to truck back to the opponents home court, and that's the sucky part.

Can anyone remember a similar scenario?  Home team blowing a shot at the sweep?
Yup

i do think this team plays better under pressure. and i can't imagine the celtics losing 2 games in boston with the series on the line....i am hoping the magic shot their wad last night and will come out flat. the celtics have to defend the pick and roll with nelson and howard. do that and they win. also keep the magic to under 10 3's

I'm expecting Doc to sit PP for the whole first half, so when he ballhogs at the end of the game, his legs will be fresh ;D

Just kidding, I love Pierce. But he did go a little nuts last night- hurt the team at the end. Then again, no one else was doing much.

Seriously, I have no idea what to expect. Though I expect the C's to win- they only need to play about 1% better to win the game. They need to use all 24 or so available fouls on Howard, he can't shoot to save his life.

And maybe an inadvertent elbow or two into Howard's face or the back of his head to even up the score. Just make it look like it's "in the flow of the game" like he does.

I expect the Celtics to be tired and sluggish. I expect another close game, so really it's a toss up much like three of the games in this series.

I'm worried as always but think the Celtics will come out more focused. Despite all the bad from yesterday, they did rally from 7 down with 2 minutes left and had the final shot and almost came back from 6 down with 2 left in OT. Is it possible Orlando becomes overconfident?

I get the sense that a) either not getting swept is good enough for them or b) they will think that now that they've won the celtics will roll over so they won't try as hard. Either way I'm sure we won't see the same desperation they showed last night.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I expect the Celtics to win.  I don't care how they do it, I just want them to win.

More than anything I want to see them out-hustle and out-defend the other team again.
Ditto.  I expect them to show that they want it more!
