There was a report on ESPN after the game that Chicago management has approached Phil Jackson about his returning to the Bulls to try to orchestrate a renaissance there. LA is reportedly trying to low-ball Jackson, and with the prospect of LeBron in Chicago, it would be very attractive to Phil as a swan-song.

It wouldn't shock me if Jackson's people floated this one to try to get more money out of LA.  Jackson likes to win, and the Kobe/Gasol combo gives him the best chance to at least make it to the Finals every year.

So excited to have another 6+ weeks of these rumors. No one is going to make a move until LeBron does, and anything and everything done by all 30 teams in the league will in some way be an attempt to increase their chances of landing him.
