JJ redick, What a player!

Besides couple of mental errors, this dude has a lot of heart & is a fighter. The one player who brought it each and every second he plays. He hits timely baskets on one end. And then blankets Ray Ray for long stretches of the game. The whole offense goes in funk when he's guarding Ray Ray. I wish Celtics would attack him more. Maybe some post-ups for Ray. That said, JJ redick is one heck of a player.

Hmmmmm .... wouldn't call him a great "player", but I would call him a great "shooter". He's a clutch shooter, especially behind the line, but he's got a long way to go with his defensive skills and running a team at the NBA level. He has a good start, but at this point he's mediocre at best.

On this team, as a complimentary scorer and hard nosed defender, JJ would be a great fit as Ray's long term backup/replacement. Depending on other moves, I would be happy to sign him for 5 years and $25 million.

You don't think Orlando would match?  They did with Gortat so I have to believe they'd do it with Reddick, especially since he's been their best player in the playoffs.

Yeah, I'd go with "improving defender" and "hustle player".  He's not a great -- or even good -- defender at this point, but he tries hard, and has gotten better.  I'd put him as about average, although he gets killed by bigger players.
