With one home game left, there will be a lot of pressure should we lose ge 5.

Its the conference finals. Everyone has pressure. We'll be fine.

Celtics will be p---ed going into game 5. They need that focused anger.

Don't worry, we won't lose again.

That was fricking atrocious.

The Magic did everything they could to leave the door open all game, and the Celtics did every thing they could to not walk through it.

A few points:

-hero ball is  retarded. That was the worst offense down the stretch since the dawn of time. The few times we ran a play from late in the third until the end of the game, we scored. So what if they're over-blitzing the picks? So what if they are denying the ball? Use off the ball screens instead of pick and rolls. It was HORRIBLE.

- Jameer Nelson is awful. Truly an awful point guard.

- Dwight Freaking Howard had at least 10 dunks and alley-oops tonight. The rotation was\ ATROCIOUS. Pick and roll recovery was \N ATROCIOUS. If Garnett does a great, aggressive blitz, you can't \leave him out to dry, you have to ROTATE. Otherwise Glen Davis is stuck between Lewis and Howard, and Howard gets a dunk  >:(

- Rebounding: "BOARDS!!" I was screaming at my television, "get the \ boards!  >:( >:(" There were at least 3 instances where we turned the ball over, gave the magic a wide open fast break three, nocaps, time that happened it resulted in a made three on their second shot. Every single time. Check the tape.

- Rondo played his worst game of the season, I think. He was jogging the whole time -- obviously injured. Also, no one was running with him and the entire Magic team was back. Every time he tried to push the ball it was him out front, 5 magic jerseys inside the three point line, and 1 player (usually Glen Davis) a few feet behind Rondo. The rest of the team wasn't even in the picture. Awful.

This was generally one of the worst played games of all time.

Edited...You see the game as me. But no need to masked profanity or caps. thank you

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Man I almost blew a gasket after this game. I agree the pressure is on now. Orlando has confidence. We let them get off to a good start and we were fighting uphill alnight. I'm a little worried about game 5. I didn't want to go back there. No excuse for not boxing out on Howard and not wrapping him up. This stings man. I wanted this bad tonight.

I'm expecting Orl to come out with a ton of energy in game 5. We better match their energy or risk getting blown out. And it's time for Doc to step up. Their pick and roll defense, which they ran like 99% of the time, was putting tons of pressure on us. We need to be ready for that next game.

My guess was that Rondo was sick tonight, he and the rest of the troops just did not bring it tonight. This was similar to the Cleveland game 3. Pierce and Glen Davis both had good games. Ray Allen made some threes. The rest of them Garnett, Rondo, Perkins, Sheed, Tony Allen - too slow. Poor Energy.

  • KG IS THE KING
This is the thing with us Celtics fans, or just us Boston fans in general. We get so spoiled that when we lose once, not blown out, but lose by a close margin, we begin to act like the world is ending.

HELLO! Wasn't us that took down the best team in the NBA? And also us that stopped a red hot magic team 3 straight times? Aren't we the best defensive team in the playoffs? Don't we have 4 stars on our team? Weren't we on the verge of sweeping the DEFENDING EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS?!?!?!

Fellas, take a chill pill. We didn't give up today, we just simply got out-played. We'll get them Wednesday.

Celtics play better on the road - except in Atlanta and Golden State.... If a hurricane flattens Amway Arena, then perhaps Stern will move the game to Atlanta.

Never said we gave up, didn't really get outplayed -- that suggests that one team played well. No one played well. Our execution was just even worse.

I get very angry when I see terrible basketball.

Can't believe we lost another game at home.

That's 2 Losses on our own floor in the playoffs.

We lost once at home in the 2008 Championship year.

  • GOT IT!!!
I'm disappointed in the way the C's game out from the opening tip. The 1st quarter is the key with this team. If they get in a hole it's tough for them to climb out of it.

No doubt that the Magic will come out firing the next game. The C's better bring it.

C's should have gotten this one.  :(

I don't really think it was hero ball.

We just went to Pierce too much down the stretch when he was too tired to come through.

He and KG were the main reason we weren't down by 10 or 15.

We had a very poor defensive 1st quarter.

Offensively we didn't push the ball up to quicken the tempo of the game enough. We had a lot of opportunities for quicker scores.

Instead we settled for a lot hurried shots with the clock winding down, even had a 24 shot clock violation.

Overall, I am pleasantly happy that it takes this enormous amount of bad basketball play, on our part, for us to lose in an OT game with a team who pretty much brought their A++ effort game tonight.
