gave orlando confidence that they can win a close game....boston used up a ton of energy for nothing...wednesday is going to be very tricky....i just hope this team doesnt run out of gas like last season

hope this refocuses them...maybe makes orlando little less focused....

I don't like playing the "we play this badly and only lose by so much, game?", but that's pretty much what happened.

STILL, Celtics DO need to win Game 5. Do NOT let the Magic extend this series. Forget the Bruins and all that stuff people claim they're scared of. JUST END THIS SERIES.

i still cant believe Doc would NOT call a timeout at the end of regulation...REALLY?....TIED and we had like 16 seconds left after the rebound---and NO timeout?

This is a classic trap game for the Celtics. It would be a complete shame to blow this opportunity to sweep away the Magic and root the mental block completely in their head as long as we have GAP, PERKONITE, and RONDO working for the Green Machine.

Why is this a trap game? Believing the Mental Midget Poodles will roll over and play dead. Personally, I think most of the Magic have checked out mentally. But Boston must keep up the good habits and not let down mentally and can use some practices to prepare for their next opponent, probably the Lakers, but Phoenix still is very much alive in this series.

Now we are in a British Golf Course Bunker. Man, how could we blow this opportunity?
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Well, see you back here for game six because there's no way we win in flapjack land.

Huge missed opportunity tonight. No focus. Back to the regular season.

Other than the two we already did win, of course. But, we lost by four tonight in overtime to a good team so your negativity is logical.

If we lose game 5, then flashes of last year's series may haunt us. But as it is now, we have 3 chances to close this thing out. And quite honestly, I feel that the Celtics can win it on the road come wednesday. They have been very good coming out of losses in these playoffs and there is a lot to hope for coming into game 5. Go Celtics!

Agreed. We may have to put away the brooms now, but the Celtics will recover, and take this series in 5.

The Magic had their offensive subs in and it was a way to get Pierce an iso with Vince on him instead of Barnes or Pietrus.

Im now very worried about how this could end up, our guys hearts wanted to be in it but we couldnt why??? I'm afraid its fatigue and that all the games up thus far has us gassed. Im not sure what to think of all this but bad thoughts are creeping into my head. This Magic team now knows they could beat us, they played physical and we couldnt withstand it.

If they push us even into a game 6 and we limp into the finals fatigue could be a huge factor. Starters are playing to many minutes Rondo already told doc hes fatigued.

Pierce logged almost 47 minutes tonight.

Paul got to the rim a couple times late (1 for a dunk and the other a 3 point play)....after those 2 drives he was too tired to do anything else but take jumpers (missed them all, 6 shots).

Just got back after a long drive home from the Garden.  Obviously a tough loss, but a great environment.  Sure wish we got a shot off at the end of regulation.

Hats off the Orlando for bringing their best effort when they easily could have mailed it in.

No worries on the Celts end for me.

Good night.

Question just popped into my head after seeing the box score. There was a play where it looked like Pierce hit a 3 and they mentioned it would be reviewed later. Did I miss the replay of this or was it left for our own imaginations?

I've been thinking about how Rondo was not very effective in this game, and how he really needs to be the focus of this offense ... when he does well, this team is it's strongest.

But I've also been thinking about how many times tonight I saw him get out on a fast-break, and either be completely alone, or only have one other guy with him, (usually Ray).

There were many times when KG, Pierce and Perk would just not book-it up the floor when they'd get the Magic on their heels, and I think it's because of the fatigue factor, obviously.

Rondo can only do so much, and most of the time, a fast-break can not work unless everyone is running, not just one or two.

I think we'll be better on Wednesday, but I think Doc should have given the three players I mentioned more of a blow, especially in the fourth.
