  • ANYTHING is posssiiibbbbllee
1. Pierce choked.
2. Rondo choked with that idiotic play.
3. Doc Rivers was absolutely outcoached by a LARGE margin in the last 6 minutes of the 4th and OT.

Pathetic.

that was the worst game, maybe ever.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Maybe a good wakeup call was what we needed.

I say Celts in 5.

Yep, Celtics didn't play their A game in the first half, and fumbled some plays at the end.

We'll get them on Wednesday. Go Celtics!

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I'll be a bit more positive.

Orlando isn't as bad as they played for the first three games. They won a lot of games for a reason.

We had a ton of chances to steal this game even though Rondo was awful for the entire game. There were so many times the Celts could've gone up 2 or 4 only to have shots rim out...meanwhile Nelson banks in a crazy 3.

I don't see any reason why the Celtics shouldn't win this in 5.

GREAT GREAT GREAT Coaching there Doc....we had 2 timeouts left...and got NOTHING on 2 straight possessions to end regulation....cause HE WOULD NOT at least use one of them.

PATHETIC way to NOT make it to the FINALS.

Oh, and it didn't help that Scott Foster decided to get Boston in the penalty and call EVERY TICKY TACK foul in the 4th....NICE.

Well, see you back here for game six because there's no way we win in flapjack land.

Huge missed opportunity tonight. No focus. Back to the regular season.

I think that might be a *little* over the top.  If we get a better game from Rondo, we win that game.

UGGGHHHHHH not the end I was hoping for. Ah well we live to fight another day. Hopefully we can get back to our previous level of play and bounce back from this loss with another 5 game winning streak.

no excuse for this lackluster effort tonight -- none.  they had so many chances to put this away and failed at every possibility.  even just making their free throws would have put this away in regulation.  just a poor effort.  hope this serves as wake-up slap in the face that they aren't as great as they were thinking they were.  If this doesn't convince them that they can't just sleepwalk through games and win I don't know what will

Don't want to make excuses, but Paul Pierce was obviously gassed down the stretch.

If we had better performances from our bench, Paul could have gotten some rest.

We really stink with our offensive execution down the stretch.

2 prayer 3 pointers by Jameer Nelson really killed us. Jameer totally killed us all game actually.

If you're going to lose this one, do it by 15.  Losing the way they did just smacks of a big missed opportunity.  The game was there and they p---ed it away.

KG and PP looked tired coming into overtime. We sure could have used Sheed tonight, had he not gone crazy earlier in the game. If at all, the pressure of keeping the winning streak in the playoffs is gone. We just need to bounce back and start another run. The C's are a very good road team, I think they go to Orlando and wrap it up in five games.

Ok, first the Celtics need to stay healthy. So if everyone is ok, then they have to crush Orlando in their own home.

It will be everything but easy, we've seen today how the whistles went, Howard should've been taken off the game with something like 9 fouls. But the bad thing was they couldn't stop Nelson, he pulled a DWade tonight.

Back to Celtic basketball, and then it will be Celtics in 5. They've showed today that they can loose if they don't play as hard as they can.

Wednesday will be different, hopefully a win.

Go Celtics!

well, we played bad, rondo had a horrible game, pierce was gassed at the end, and we got some ticky tacky fouls called on us in the 4th quarter and OT, and still almost won. there are no moral victories, but i wouldn't overreact, either. i still think we win in 5, so long as we play our game wednesday.

The good thing we seem to learn something from every loss we've had these playoffs and bounced back well. That trend needs to continue.
