Some dope from the Sporting News (Eric?) asked Rondo and KG if they thought the Magic just had an off night. Then he added the Magic missed a lot of easy shots. I think KG just laughed and Rondo deadpanned that he also believed the Magic missed a lot of easy shots. Am I the only one who saw this?

I saw it. KG's reaction was great, and so was Rondo's answer.

This is a great picture that pretty much sums up the series.  When a 6'1" (probably closer to 5'11") player is boxing out a 6'11" (probably closer to 7') player and gets a similar amount of rebounds (okay 3 is a lot less than 7, but still) the series is pretty much over.

KG's reaction was priceless. He started laughing and looked genuinely perplexed. There was a long silence and Rondo broke it by saying "they missed shots" and then someone in the audience laughed. Funny moments, but dumb question.

i heard it and laughed. what an idiot the sporting news sent to cover this game. an off night? they just got dominated and the reporter asks if it was just an off night...dumb

His question was reasonable when he began it. It's valid to ask how much was your defense and how much was the offense fault. I have no problem with that, the game has two sides.

But then he kept talking...

This is such a dumb question to ask a player.

They are two sides of the same coin.

Of course when you shoot lower than 40% you missed shots by definition. Every team misses shots in every game. But when you managed to get your opponent down by 30, the question asked by the reporter is just stupid.

Yep, loved this camaraderie too! The chemistry "issues" are definitely a thing of the past.

I got a kick out of Stan and Dwight's statement also,"we are not playing Orlando Magic basketball at the moment".Could it be they are playing their(brand)game as best they can,its just the level of competition you're facing Stan&Dwight.
