It is obvious after watching the first quarter last night that The Celtic's took the Magic's heart in the two game sweep in Orlando.

The Magic played with no heart, effort, or intensity last night. They had a couple of early good looks that didn't go down, and that was it.

The Celtics are playing better right now that in 2008, and I honestly believe the bench is better and deeper.

Honestly, I think KG is playing just as well if not better, and we all know Rondo is a completely different guy than 2008 Rondo.

With Baby, Sheed, and TA playing great D and being bigtime contributors on offense, I like this team better than 2008.

Reason why: They have been there and our top 9 guys all have Championship experience. In 2008, only Posey had a ring.

Hopefully this translates into banner 18. Lakers will still be tough, as they are better now than in 2008. Gasol is a much different player, and Artest really gives Pierce a tough match-up on D. The Bynum-Perk/Sheed match-up may be X-Factor matchup.

Kobe will probably play Rondo, giving Ray a mismatch with Fischer. Ray will need a very strong Finals, imo.

Go C's...The Drive for Banner 18 is 5 wins away!

Everyone (meaning *everyone*, not just everyone here) are down on the Cavs and the Magic for quitting. I think it's more a case of us being too much better than them at the moment.

Last night, either Jackson or Van Gundy talked about how no one can take your heart.  A team might beat you and beat you bad, but only you can decide to give up.  I'm not sure this Magic team can beat this Celtic team when it's playing as well as it is now, but they can certainly give an effort more like games 1 and 2.

One small quibble:  this year's KG is still a few steps back from 2008 KG.  KG back then was a beast on both ends; this year's KG is more getting it done via defense and solid (rather than great) offense.

But yeah, I love how this year's team is just demoralizing teams with its play.
