In the beginning of the year it was still debatable over here whether it's a good deal or not. Now, it looks like it can be one of the best bargains in C's history.

You should've made some kind of joking reference to the fact that we also have Nate Robinson but everyone else can have him if they want him.

I almost made a joke about how he's shielding his eyes from Rondo's glow! ;)

Nate is perfect for this team right now, unlike a lot of our past backup G's he is cheering for the team and playing the "#1 Fan" role to perfection.

This play summed up this game, and sums up Rondo:

I love this kid ... I love this team!

Rondooooooooooooooooooooooooo! ;D

On a smaller scale, that $3mil looks like steal for Glen Davis too. 8)

Rondo is awesome. Just brilliant. It's quite funny to see how is contract is a bargain while he could have (would have, actually) got a max contrat this summer, while the likes of Stoudemire, Lewis and Howard are showing in these playoffs they do not deserve that kind of big contract.

I'm sure if he keeps playing like this, Rondo's future endorsement deals will more than make up for his contract's shortcomings. We are so fortunate to have him on our team. The kid has a fire in him that is truly special. Not only has he reached the "consistency" level that we were all hoping for, he continues to want to get better and wants to be great and he wants to get rings. I hope he never settles. He has the right team-oriented and defense-first mentality to go with his athleticism, intelligence, and ridiculous flair for making the impossible happen. I can't say enough good things about him!

And still on his rookie contract. It's unbelievable how much bang for the buck we're getting these playoffs. I have so much respect for Rondo right now giving contract year performances in a non-contract year. He already signed his extension and just wants to win. Some players want max money and haven't even put as much into winning this postseason as Rondo has.
