None! After what I saw tonight none could play with the Celtics. None have the heart.

Of course that was just hyperbole. There are some good players on the Magic. But I hate how they just quit.

I am shocked how flawed they looked. Perkins makes Howard look so ordinary and weak. The guy has been in the league six years and still has the game of a high school kid who gets by on his athleticism. Can somebody teach him a post game?

Howard for obvious reasons.

Lewis would be great coming off the bench as a stretch 4 and as a bigger 3. His scoring off the bench would be great and he would give us tremendous versatility.

Redick for his heart and shooting.

Keep in mind that I said "in their current role".

Guys like Rashard, Nelson, etc., would look good off the bench, sure, but 1) I don't think they'd accept the role, and 2) nobody wants to pay a bench player a max contract.

Honestly? As much as I would like to say Howard I'm going with JJ Reddick.  He's got heart, a killer jump shot, and (despite the snafu in game 2) he is a very smart player. EDIT: He's also a vastly underrated defender.

The way this team is playing I really wouldn't want to change it much.
But before the season one of the players I wanted to pick up was Jason Williams.  He was a big question mark since he sat out a whole season, and since the Starbury experiment I understand why the Celtics took a pass.

But Williams has really impressed me, he has been better than I expected.  He would be the perfect back-up PG that the Celtics have been looking for, he is a much better fit than Nate.

Having a legit back up PG, would make Daniels not necessary for ball handling.  The Celtics could then upgrade the back-up wing position.

Imagine if Howard had to bang in practice with KG and Perk all year long... would he be that smiling happy go lucky gentle giant that he is now?

Imagine Howard with the same heart and intensity that our organization brews in it's players.

I would take Howard and let out his inner beast.

In their current role, mainly Howard.  Gortat would be fine off the bench, and I like Redick, but I also like Tony Allen.

The only player I would care about from this Magic squad is J.J. Reddick. He's the only guy on their team who has any resilience.

Any of the rotation guys except for VC. VC is too good for his personality to not have a detrimental effect.

JJ and Jameer are the only Magic that have showed up in the last three games. Since Roy said "current role" I guess I'll go with JJ, but not if that means Tony Allen goes to the bench.

Maybe Gortat sending Sheed to the bench

Im basing my picks on these players will be coached differently, and more attention will be on defense on the Celts.M.Pietris got my attn last season in the playoffs when he manned up on LBJ.My second pick would be Gortat, seems like a player who would fit in a defensive oriented system much easier than most.#3pick might be JJ.Reddick, just because he is a hustler, that will give you 100% most of the time.JJ.is a smart player regardless of one boneheaded play he made in game2.

We do not have a Reddick type in the second unit....his overall game has improved alot in the past year....no longer one dimensional....would have to swap picks with them as he is restricted

Gortat obviously.  He could be a starter on a lot of teams.  Redick and Pietrus aren't anything special but they're both decent bench players.

Jason Williams would be a great backup for Rondo.  I kinda always liked him.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
