Over the past 2 years EVERYBODY on this blog has said they wanted Barnes because he is a good defender. I can't wait for PP to clear him out.

Fine by me, I guess the Magic haven't realized how screwed they are when it comes to match ups in this series. They really can't switch and become more effective, they just can not defend the C's, and drawing attention to it with comments like this won't solve the problem.

As for Rashard, he should not speak, KG has completely crushed his spirit in this series. I'm fine with him thinking they are the better team, he can think that all the way into the sweep, and continue to think that while he's watching the Celtic's championship parade. Plus as the wise sage Dwight Howard quoted after game 2, "Pride comes before the fall," so go ahead and feel cocky Rashard.

I think the reason a lot of us wanted Matt Barnes (myself included) was because he is somewhat fearless like this.  He wants the challenge.


That said, he's gonna get schooled by Pierce if he does try to guard him.
