i agree...i expect the garden to be nuts tonight. and honestly..that cavs stinker they had will keep them on point IMO

Indeed "Blood in the watah instinct" and as celticinorlando says, hit 'em hard early and it will shake their confidence, as the psychological / confidence (in your head) aspect to the game is a highly underrated and unquantifiable variable in skilled sports, which carries over to being confident in ones team-mates, as well... UBUNTU  ;)

/ Oh man, Shaqs pinning of Perk, OUCH, [dang]ed, that gotta hurt...

Major props for Perk the anchor in Center on his team !!!

Though I wince on every pick, expecting the all to often heard whistle... But in his verbal defense , you gotta find out how close the refs are going to call "it" and what they are going to allow, too (though he seems to get NO Slack from the Z's)...

In fairness, yes, he did ... the refs, in general, have been better than usual for most of the playoffs. Kudos.

Yeah Salvatore has reffed every Game 3 we've had so far this posteason. With Spooner IIRC against the Heat.

Nope. He did the game 3 cavs blowout.

We have a landmark today. We have been up 2-0 5 times now since the KG era and Bennett Salvatore has been assigned to 100% of those game 3's.

I think this is where the Magic have to make their stand. if they go down 3-0 it's going to be a sweep. The C's know they are a couple of wins away from the finals they won't put a 3-0 lead to waste.

I think the big key to this game is keeping Perk out of foul trouble. The last game he wasted some fouls early and was never really got his alone time with Howard. Howard was already off to a good start, but I doubt he could do that against Perk an entire game. Perk is our best Howard stopper so we need him today. Baby has the bulk to push Howard off the block, but not the size to bother his shot when he's deep. Rasheed has the size, but he can only bother Howard for short stretches before he has to foul. If we are going to stop Dwight from having scoring night like game 2 we need Perk.

I think the Celts get it done we're to hungry let this one slip.

Today's Refs are
Bennett Salvatore, Bill Spooner, Greg Willard.

The Celtics have lost just 3 games in the playoffs so far and in each of those losses, one of today's referees was present.  That is a very ominous fact since we have all 3 today.

refs are going to send howard to the line 15-20 times tonight. no doubt about that
