Hey guys,

It appears as though Rondo is getting love from all over the league. Check out this article coming from the Bucks Blog. I think its a great take on just how far Rondo has come from the championship team of 08

http://werebucked.com/2010/05/19/who-would-you-take-over-rondo/

So what do you think? Would you rather have Rondo over Wade?

It's about time that Rondo got recognition around the league. I love Rajon but there is no way I would rather have him instead of Wade.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

How about Rondo over a healthy Chris Paul? If you all remember back near the draft Ainge was considering trading Pierce for a first rounder which he then wanted to turn around to pick up Chris Paul... Personally id rather have Chris Paul...

Wow, maybe that guy is giving Rondo a bit *too* much love.

If I'm starting a franchise from scratch, I take Carmelo, Deron, Chris Paul and Bosh in front of Rondo.

I'm unsure on Brandon Roy.  I'd probably take Rondo, with a lot of it due to health.  Maybe that's because I don't watch Roy enough.

Only one in that group I'd take over Rondo is Melo. I may take Roy too.

It is really nice to keep seeing Rondo's gained exposure. He deserves it and hopefully he'll help make Boston a free agent destination down the road.

However, I think Paul and Williams are still better point guards. Rondo's defense and another stellar post season run, in my opinion, has vaulted him past Steven Nash.

If I were building a team from scratch today, these would be my preferred young players:

1. James
2. Howard
3. Durant
4. Wade
5. D Williams
6. C Paul
7. Bosh
8. Anthony
9. Rondo
10. Rose

Here is hoping this translate into more love from the officials.  I want other teams complaining about the unfair calls Rondo gets.

I think Rajon vs Deron is getting fairly close. Deron's big advantage is scoring/outside shooting. Rondo's clearly shown that he's capable of scoring more than he does.

Brotha... although I agree with most of this list... Melo before Rondo... come on now, how many SF can do what Melo does compared to what Rondo does at the 1... Plus with Rondos upside, passing ability and defence... I would take Rondo in a heartbeat over Melo... I feel like Melos reached his potential and wont get anywhere till hes got another allstar caliber star next to him (ala Chris Bosh or Wade)...

Does Wade belong on a young players list? He's 28.

I agree.  Melo is a very talented player and a phenomenal scorer, but scorers aren't that tough to find in this league.  What Rondo gives you is a lot more difficult to get elsewhere.  Rondo, at this point in his career, is a winner.  Carmelo isn't.

No question that Rondo is emerging as one of the great stars in this league.

Kevin Callabero way out here in Seattle has mentioned it on his afternoon shows (in between the lamenting of the departure of Kevin Durant who was going to make the Sonics very relevant and me an active Sonic blogger).
The beatings will continue until morale improves
